I believe in the Jays.

Random thought... who gets #11? Backs has had it since he made the team full time and has a letter or will he give it up for the incoming Superstar.

I think the longest serving Flame gets to keep 11.

I mean he isn't wrong. It also seems like first step towards stricter laws in general

Then the whole Roe vs Wade thing

If Huberdeau wants #11, he needs to sign an 8-year extension first.

Which means it's unbearably hot & humid in South Florida. But not to worry, in a month it will be hurricane season.
Fresh Key Lime Pie is amazing though.
One time I was in Florida, I had a Key Lime cheesecake that was honestly one of the greatest things I've ever eaten.

It’s also hot and humid in Toronto. And the whole eastern seaboard.

You know it was a good trade when people have to resort to weather and politics to have something to argue about.

Now that all is said and done with Gaudreau and Tkachuk I am:
1) Still smh at Gaudreau's tactics and outcome. I can't believe the BJs are his dream scenario. I remain convinced he has assigned himself to hockey purgatory and if he's fine with that for whatever reason, then whatevs.
2) Still impressed by Tkachuk's (Tkachuk&Co's) business acumen.
3) Not angry at either player.
4) More than happy with Tre.
5) Very much looking forward to seeing how 2022/23 plays out to the trade deadline.

I've lived in The Bahamas for 13 years now and still consider it one of the worst choices out of the 9 countries I've lived in.
It's largely about non-weather things but I don't love the weather here.
I miss the northern climates (Canada & Sweden especially) and the weather that comes with them.
So tired of living in a constantly-on-9-months-of the-year Air Conditioner place. Can't open a window after 1 April.

I think the Flames come out of this stronger and professional in the way they handled everything, won’t be surprised to hear about an arena update/deal soon. Good to see Treliving react the way he did and saying he was pissed off by what some were saying about Calgary. We’re not going to fold just because a couple players decided to play elsewhere.

Give it up for a Rolex? Isn't is the going price?

After two days of thinking about this....if this was the return, we should have made this trade regardless of whether or not Tkachuck wanted to sign long term in Calgary.

That's the going price if you're buying it off a rookie or someone who hasn't had it very long. You'd have to think it would be a lot more to buy it off the guy who's third in all-time games played for the franchise.
