For anyone not in the Back Burner Forum, Sven Baertschi recorded a hat trick tonight in the Baby Flames 10-0 victory over Syracuse (the #1 team in the Eastern Conference and #2 team in the AHL overall).

Baertschi's goals start at about 2:30, but the whole thing is really worth a watch. Lots of great plays by Baertschi, Granlund, McGrattan, Agostino, Shore, Reinhart and Elson.VIDEO

Oh yea. There are no babyfaced facial hair growing issues with him at all. He's had a good beard for most of the season.

Syracuse could have played with no goalie and still surrendered fewer goals.
