Yeah, it was pretty rough. Modern Steak/Ceasers prices with very poor food and service.

Oh really? edit: yeah, just looked it up and it's currently open. Hmm, no idea if it's a location move or a second one.

They already have a second location in Canmore, so possibly expanding... though you'd think they'd maybe spread their wings a little more than another location on Macleod.

Apparentely a new Uniqlo is slated for Market Mall? Maybe heading into the GAP space by Decathlon as I heard rumors that GAP's lease renewal was declined by Cadillac Fairview.

Gaucho has been around for years. We actually had our wedding dinner (small party) at their original location 15 years ago in the Manchester industrial area. Haven't actually been there since then but we've been excited to go since we saw them moving close by.

Pulling this reply from the archives. I was in Hirafu, late at night just hankerin. Sandwiches just looked too perfect, so they deterred me, but I did see somethin that really caught my eye.
Was that crackers, and cheez whiz? Jesus, come to papa. Albeit, the cheese looked more mozza like, but I can deal.
No. No deal. It was minced fish. Raw. Shakespearean level tragedy. I love that country so much, but maaaan, some crazy things will sneak up on ya over there like wild tentacles.

I saw that H Mart tonight, but I didn't go in. And I also saw Best Buy which I'm almost certain closed down for a couple years in Beacon?

The Best Buy moved down a few units into a much smaller space. The H-Mart took over the old (larger) Best Buy space.

I know we have a lot of people in McKenzie Towne on here. Fergus and Bix by the Goodlife is permanently closed. Sucks, I really enjoyed that place, their food was amazing, especially their house wings

Whaaa?? I liked Fergus & Bix and they seemed expensive enough to remain solvent!
That sucks. As you said, their wings were great.

Never tried it but just noticed there’s a Crumbl opening up in Quarry Park. The sign is hung but it still looked pretty empty inside, so probably sometime in February I’d imagine.

Hah! Sorry! We loved San Remo too and I think it closed just as we moved out of the city. Their chicken involtini was fantastic and had really solid pizza.

Great wine specials and my wife adored their Truffle Gnocchi poutine.

Oh man, I forgot about that gnocchi poutine. They also had the best fresh bread/fancy butter combo that I’ve ever had and they would change up the butter flavors sometimes too.
