I do not agree with all of Trumps ideas but at least they are his ideas and he is self funded in this election. If you want to vote for any other candidates, republican or democrat, you must first look into who is making the major contributions to their campaign. Then find out what their "interests" are and that is what you are truly voting for. Koch brothers, Warren Buffet, these are the puppet masters behind every candidate minus Donald Trump.
This is a complete fabrication. Buffett is not even close to being the largest contributor to the Dems and he has repeatedly been quoted as saying he would have approved Keystone.

Hilarious!

Fact: The Keystone would take billions from Warren Buffet

Fact: Buffet likes billions of dollars.

He can say that he is for it all he wants, I don't believe it for a second. And yes I believe one of the richest men of earth that supports the Democrats absolutely has a bat phone to the president. Along with all the other Mega donors. We don't know 1% of what back door deals are happening behind the scenes.

No that's not a fact. At all. Once again your conspiracy sites have lied to you. Not that it will stop you from believing it.

It really wouldn't cost Buffet anything. Most of the oil shipped by rail goes by Canadian rail companies. In fact, the rail company you refer to has repeatedly (BNSF) said the impact of the pipeline is negligible to the bakken shale oil it carries. It's on record long before the decision came down.

So much so that he donated more this year alone than he could possibly make by having the pipeline denied???

You're throwing a massive red herring in her and doubling down. That herring is rotten

In April we had this....

Then last Friday, after a Monmouth poll had Ted Cruz in front, we had this...

Quote:
“What the hell is Monmouth?” Trump asked at the rally, adding, “I only like polls that treat me well.”
And now today...

Quote:
Donald Trump hits 41% in new Monmouth national poll, his highest national support of the election cycle yet.
It's pretty amazing someone with the emotional maturity of a 6-year old is so wanted as President. It's like some Americans would prefer to have the world think they're pathetic.

I'm appalled that Trump is even a candidate, much less a contender. People swear by the constitution in the US and it's guarantees of liberty and freedom, yet they welcome Trump and Cruz and other reps who openly will trample on people's rights.

I swear, the only right Americans actually care about is the "right" to bear arms.

It's safe to say Trump's supporters don't give a toss what the rest of the world thinks about them. They don't even care what the Republican party thinks of them.

This would actually be a bad thing overall for liberals and progressives as it would have serious down-ticket implications for the election.

Trump supporters would almost certainly vote straight-R for Congress, Senate, State, Governor, Sherrif, Judge, etc. etc. All those gazillion props that come up in American elections. Also, his presence would drive both Conservative independents and committed Republicans to the polls in droves to vote for/against him while Progressives Liberals, and Democrats might stay home, expecting an easy win based on the split-vote on the right.

The US would end up with a Democratic President and every other level of government in the hands of the Republicans even more so than it already is. You'd end up with basically the same situation, total gridlock in Washington as a Republican Congress sent bill after bill to get Vetoed by a Democrat President with a huge mandate who can't get his or her policies enacted other than through executive action, and then violently-red states passing bill after bill rolling back Progressive initiatives: gun-control would be DOA, abortion restrictions would become more stringent, local environmental ordinances would be rolled back, you'd see no new states joining the Obamacare exchanges, etc. etc.

Overall, while an independent Trump candidacy looks good for the Left, it would in fact be terrible and in many ways a net-win for the Right.

That article is comical. 100% fear-mongering. Grasping at straws to try and drum up hatred in this country, and in the US towards us.

Oh, and I wish the author would tell us more about our "National Democratic Party". And about the ferry service between Vancouver and Washington State (??!?).

The presidency is by far the most important part of the 2016 election, because of the aging supreme court. Continued losses in the House and Senate would be worth it if the next (Democratic) president gets to appoint three justices. Getting them confirmed is another story, but as long as you don't have any more Clarence Thomases, you're doing fine.

The house is going to keep shifting right until they fix the districting laws anyway. Might as well trounce them in the presidential race.

I listened to a part of it and yeah, it's like watching a car crash. You can't believe it's happening but can't look away kind of thing. I wonder if that's why pollsters and analysts think he is good, because his ratings are high, but I wonder how much of his ratings are people like me just watching in awe. Marveling at how far the political process and media have seemingly fallen.

Edit: like growing up, I could never imagine CNN ever taking any of this seriously. It's bizarre.

The whole Great Old Party is a total train-wreck, it's made up of crazy liar's,cheats and bible thumpers. The whole world should be very afraid of who makes it out of this.

I think this will be the thing that causes normal republicans to split from the party and create a moderate party under a new banner.

I turned it on after he was done and Don Lemon and the other 2 guys, a republican strategist, not sure about the 3rd guy, sure loved him. They thought he was awesome, smart, the best really.

I don't see it. They're too afraid to split off from the two-party system from whose teat they have suckled too long.
