Sign him when his season's done. Don't send 4th year NCAA players back to school.
The new AHL pacific division is supposed to be a designed as a training ground for future NHLers. Less travel, less games, more practices... I think it makes sense to inject Jankowski in that league next season. Let him learn to be a pro.
You describing Sven... Needs to be a 200 ft player I think the Burkie said at one point???????

I think we have started to get a little bit blinded by prospects that come into the organisation and dazzle straight away, like Gaudreau or even Bennett, and have started to expect every prospect to do the same. If they don't we seem to get down on them real quick.

I wasn't talking about Sven but that is a good example, players are expected to be able to play at both ends of the ice.
I was trying to make the point that we seem to get down on prospects pretty quick if they don't set any records, rather than developing along a consistent curve, which Jankowski appears to be doing.
I was checking Providence's schedule because I thought the college season started in September (it doesn't start until early October), and I found this video on the Friars' website...
I don't believe it has been posted here before (and if it has, it's worth watching again).

aside from being good at it, AC probably cares more about the subjects too.
I think that's unfair. Students at these school have an immense amount of school pride. They don't have the same quality of video to work with and as student they may not have the same experience, plus if it's apart of a university program they may have to stick within certain parameters.
