I'm hearing that a lot of down ballot polls are showing democrats leading, but the for the presidency it's neck and neck? This is a weird election.

I think this is the first election we have seen where one side (Trump) actively wants the polls to favour him regardless of reality for his 'I was robbed' narrative, the Harris camp wants to be ahead in the polls, he just wants to look like he's ahead, because of this I think GOP polls are hugely more biased than normal, this won't affect the down ballot races or frankly the actual election

They still lost the House and the popular vote margin by almost 3 points though. Yeah they did better than expected for a midterm, but if they perform similarly they'll lose all 3 of the Presidency, Senate, and House.

You can use your cellphone to research, however it cannot be used for taking photos of your marked ballot (pay to vote schemes) and you can’t use it to communicate with someone else on who to vote for.

Depends on the state and the rules in place. That can also change by county, depending on state rules. American elections are messy because of "states rights" and the ridiculous lengths some states go to make the vote more difficult than easy. Frankly, there should be an app on your phone for voting (with a simple yet rigorous authentication mechanism to validate your identity) and have an in-ballot link to information on the candidates/initiatives so your vote is properly informed. The fact that technology like this is not broadly available is because the politicos want the electorate ill-informed and voting just strictly along party lines.

I don’t think it is due to lack of trying to get a coalition, but more that a lot are very idealistic and want their way and only their way. If people were willing to compromise to at least get a portion of what they wanted, I would think that Harris would be their ideal candidate.

Put in my vote for Kamala early on Tuesday. It's was funny cause I actually went to the county board of election to get an absentee ballot cause I did not want to wait in line for 2+ hours like last time. I went in and saw that people were voting early and said "eff it, I'll get it done with now" and it was a quick line. Voting early is good, 10/10 would do again

Geez, did anyone watch Harris' CNN townhall? I didn't myself, but the reviews from CNN are pretty terrible. I recognize a couple of them as Conservatives/Republicans, but I'm surprised about the reviews from Dana Bash, Axelrod and Tapper and it's hard to ignore when they've all made it known they despise Trump. Axelrod was Obama's senior strategist!

I saw clips of it. It was fine, 1000x better than anything the cheeto says.
Surprised Jennings had time to watch, he was pretty busy explaining why the hitler stuff from trump was actually good.
CNN has taken a right turn towards both sidesing everything, so its tough to take what their talking heads say.

Even if CNN has shifted a bit to the right, it would be hard to believe that they're now suddenly trying to get Trump re-elected... As I mentioned, the 2 Conservative guys? Not surprised and I'm not going to take their reviews seriously, but the other 3 who carry water for whoever is against Trump? The reviews they gave were the last thing they wanted to say about the townhall.
