The announcer basically said it perfectly:

"Spain moving the ball around like they've still got all the time in the world."

But you want Morocco to win and do the same thing for the remainder of the tournament? They will only be in full double decker mode the remainder of the tournament, legit their only chance. Spain-Portugal could be a lot of fun, Morocco against either team would be horrific.

I suppose yes, I am cheering against myself here. But I also love an upset so I'm going for Morocco. It'll be a great achievement for Africa too.

That's how Greece won Euro 2004 - by parking the bus every game. It's actually fun to watch that too.

Upsets are great in the group stage, now we should want the best matchups. Switzerland-Morocco would be a crime against humanity.

Spain-Portugal would probably actually look a lot like this.

I'm surprised Luis Enrique didn't take Kepa just for these moments alone.

I don’t think anyone is saying it isn’t effective. It is absolutely boring as a viewer though.

Why be subtle when you can be ridiculous lol. But Spain's style is always boring against a bus, but against a team that will actually try and do something? That's when it can be fun.

From a sense of karmic justice, if Morocco wins, both teams will have gotten what they deserve. Morocco for a well-executed gameplan, Spain for playing 120 minutes of keep-away instead of football.

The way Spain plays (and the fact that they played for second in the group) makes me want to see them crashing out of the group stage now.

Plus I can’t really stand Cristiano Ronaldo, so same thing with Portugal.

I’m happy with a Morocco-Switzerland quarterfinal
