I don't hate it. I sure don't love it either. I'm hoping they win as opposed to having to watch another game of bus parking by the Moroccans.
This particular brand though there's no real effort to dissect the defence.

I believe in the Jays.

Spain are fun to watch when they are actually taking a few risks and trying to score, but it gets boring when they aren’t taking risks because neither side ends up with very many chances.

It's boring. Senator Clay Davis would call it terrorism football.
Brazil's brand of football is to hang onto the ball, but they create chances with short passes and make it entertaining. France's football flows and it's super entertaining.
Spain hold the ball for the sake of holding the ball, and grind and grind and grind. Not entertaining. 2008-2012 was a dark time for football.

They have 18, 19, 20 year olds who can keep the ball away from anyone. Even if they're not creating chances, that in itself is impressive.

Darryl would say if you don't have that one guy to carry the play you have to play this way to win, except they don't even try to score the majority of the time just hang on to the ball.

It's not for the sake of holding the ball, it's for the sake of winning.
It resulted in a World Cup and 2 Euro wins. I'd sacrifice an entertaining style for trophies every day.

You get a chance that fantastic and then shoot it right at the goalie? Ouch.

Maybe.
But nowhere near as boring as parking the bus from the first minute.
Yet you're cheering for more of that?

It's a funny shift in perspective from the commentators... in the EPL when a team like Palace under Hodgson played like this they were parking the bus, it was only a matter of time and the other team was demonstrating its superiority. If they happened to win playing this style they were considered fortunate but there was a lot of criticism.
At the world cup Morocco conceding the ball and countering are "well organized".
Could see this or the Portugal game being an upset for sure, I think this bracket of 4 is the most wide open one where I could see any of the 4 teams coming out.

Agreed. But the creativity that Xavi had and those ghosting runs into the penalty box that Iniesta was capable of is missing from this Spanish side.

Umm, it's Morocco playing terrorism ball. They are playing 9 behind the ball and hoping for a Spain mistake to counter. That is terrorism ball. Spain is just refusing to take any chances to avoid Morocco's only chance to win this without penalties. Which is also boring, but I can't blame them. Breaking down the bus is abysmal to watch, and of course this match has been a complete turd.

Another good chance for Morocco, but he doesn't even get a shot off.
If they lose in penalties these last couple of glorious chances will haunt them.

Cheddira needed to just kick that with his left foot. You might not score, but at least you might.

The commentator is way more excited than the play.

That wasn't the argument. Yes, parking the bus is boring. But so is Spain.
Chaos football is the most fun. Run and gun football full of mistakes is the best football.
