Where can I out some money down for the games? I like the odds Panthers and Steelers are being given.

I heard they're going to push hard for Gruden to come back.

So far Rex Ryan, Mike Smith, and Mark Trestman have been fired. Emery and Idzic also go out with the coaches in Chicago and New York. Not sure if anyone else will be let go, so this could be a pretty light black Monday.

Gruden just signed an extension a couple weeks ago. He doesn't want to come back. He gets as much football as he wants right now without needing to worry about a pesky won/loss record.
Harbaugh is going to Michigan. He is using the Raiders interest to attempt to squeeze a little bit more out of U of M. He did the same thing when he signed in San Fran - he took a last minute trip to Miami and ended up getting the a bit more money.
And Harbaughs shelf life is not with the players. He has always defended them to the press, even when they were wrong, and they adore playing for him. His shelf life was with the Gm - Trent Baalke - and the owners - the Yorks, specifically Jed York. Beat writers and Bay area columnists have pegged owners and upper management as the source of the rumours that have been leaking since last summer.
So Michigan is going to get a great coach but I do think Harbaugh will want a return to the NFL. His goal is a Superbowl ring. If he gets a situation with more control of the personnel he will come back.

I think Ryan goes to Atlanta. I could see the 49er's promoting from within (Jim Tomsula) or targeting Seahhawks defensive coordinator Dan Quinn.

Wow, I am surprised to see Suh get suspended for stepping on Rodgers. Seems to be a lot of room for doubt whether that was anything close to intentional.

You are? Dude has a well deserved rep for being a scumbag on the field, he won't get the benefit of the doubt. The Lions are always going to Lion, it's probably safe to move that calendar to what now, 25 years without a playoff win?

No room for doubt when it is Suh...he is a habitual dirty player with this now being his 9th incident iirc.

very obviously intentional when you see Suh lifting up his other leg to put all his weight onto the leg he knew wasn't standing on the ground.
How anyone could say that wasn't intentional, I don't know.

A week after his teammate gets nailed for almost the exact same thing. What a dumbass.
Won't be missed. Neither will the Lions.

It wasn't close to obvious watching the game live in regular speed. He never broke stride, changed direction or anything. The other left lifted for about a tenth of a second to change his momentum to going forward.

I think i can make Bobblehead throw up.
Niners seek permission to talk to Josh McDaniels.

Gross. That would be the worst thing they could do.
I hope they just promote DC Vic Fangio to head coach and then get a good OC to completely revamp the offence.
A bunch of veteran SF players have stated they want to see Fangio stay as either DC or promoted to HC.
If they go out of house for a head coach I hope it's either DC Dan Quinn, DC Todd Bowles or OC Adam Gase and then keep Fangio as DC.
The Niners D was fantastic this year with all the injuries they had. If they can grab a top WR in the draft (hopefully move up to get an impact WR - Amari Cooper would be a dream) and get a good Offensive Coordinator they could bounce back real strong next year.
Harbaugh was a great leader and that will be really hard to replace, but his stubbornness to change the offence and his loyalty to OC Greg Roman made the offence suffer badly and it cost them this year.

When I watched the replay, the first foot didn't do much, so I was a little ticked that everyone was making a big deal out of it, until I saw the second foot rise into the air... Absolutely uncalled for.

Promote Fangio and hire Trestman as OC would make sense.

Gruden (Jon) to the 49ers makes the ultimate sense. They have a short window left and he's shown he can take an almost there team over the top. They also would be idiots to hire a defensive coach seeing as all their issues are on offense.

Jon Gruden is a defensive coach.
And he's signed onto ESPN until 2020 so he has no interest in coaching.
