SI did a GREAT story on Halladay in their Baseball preview issue - I highly recommend it, makes for a great read on his trials and tribulations to make it back to the majors after being sent down to the minors and thinking his career was over

Wow, am I in shock. If any pitcher deserves a distinction like that it's doc. Wow am I proud of him. I have seen him pitch so many complete games that I wondered if he would ever fashion something like this.

Now all he needs is a WS and he is one of the best of all time. Thank god we got the three guys we did for him. They all look like real players. If the jays got a johan santana haul for him I would have to eat bud selig's liver with fava beans and a nice chianti.

Well too bad he couldn't do it as a Jay, but none the less he is a guy who's well deserving of such an accomplishment.

What a performance by Halladay. Sad to see him leave Toronto, but he deserves a chance to win it all, and I hope he does.

Never have I been more proud of a former Jay. Doc is truly amazing and usually I banish traded player jerseys into the back of the closet but Doc's jersey will be worn proudly for years to come. What a game! Two perfect games in the same month, craziness!
