That's a sweet car, the R10 is the successor to the R8 which won 5 Le Mans between 2000 and 2006, losing to the R10 in '06, and gave its name to the current top-of-the-line Audi R8 road car.
Somebody took the R8 road car for their garage didn't they? Who was that... oh yeah, ME!
yeah and apparently its the first diesel powered car to win both the sebring and le mans 24 hr race.
lol and it was your who took my R8 from my garage lol. the beautiful ironman car ^_^
The Ferrari F50 isn't a race car. I am sure there is some form of race car around the F50 (I am sure if you google race car + ferrari f50 you'd find one), but the F50 itself isn't a race car.
With my next selection i will fill hte European Category and select the Mercedes-Benz SL65 AMG Black Edition
Quote:
The SL65 Black Series is possibly the most extreme car ever built by Mercedes-Benz. Obviously based on the SL-Class roadster, the Black Series gets a fixed roof instead of the power-folding one on the regular models.
Power comes from a retuned version of the SL65 AMG's twin-turbo, 36-valve, 6.0-litre V12 that develops 661 horsepower and 738 lb-ft of torque, which is connected to a 5-speed automatic transmission with rev matching. The German brand claims a top speed of 318 km/h.
Visually, Black Series SL is instantly recognizable by its bulging front and rear fenders, wider track and redesigned bumpers. Other significant modifications include a revised suspension and redecorated cockpit.
For the next pick, Koenigferrarilamboseggviking, picks in the British category, the Aston Martin DBS. You can catch James Bond driving it in Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace.
In the race car category Fozzie pulls out in the Ferrari F2002...considered by many to be the fastest F1 car car ever. Out of the 14 2002 races Michael Schumacher's F2002 participated in it won 9 of them and placed second in the other 5. While the other F2002 won 4 and came second in 5 of them. (The first two races of 2002 they used the F2001 IIRC)
And out of the 14 races in 2002 that the F2002 participated in there was only one race where it didn't win...and it came second.

From the sedan category, going to pick the Mercedes-Benz S65 AMG.

The name "S-Class" derives from the German word "Sonderklasse" of which "S-Class" is an abbreviation. Sonderklasse means "special class" (or rather: "In a class of its own"), and in automotive terms thus refers to "a specially outfitted car." Although used colloquially for decades, the "S-Class" designation was first officially applied in 1973 with the debut of the W116 model line. Since then, five generations of officially-named S-Class sedans have been produced.
In the seventh round, Lemelin's Lemmings are please to select in the 90's category the Ferrari F355. It might not be the fastest or most powerful Ferrari but the styling is very clean and tasteful. Now I can rest easy knowing that I have a Ferrari in my garage.
Team Barnes selects in the North American Category, The Chevrolet Corvette ZR1.
The Corvette variant now officially known as the ZR1 was first reported by several print and online publications who were speculating that Chevrolet was developing a super high performance production version of the Corvette and were internally calling it "Blue Devil" (named after GM CEO Rick Wagoner's alma mater, Duke University). Wagoner is quoted as saying, "I wonder what they can do for 100,000 dollars?" during a GM board meeting speaking about Chevrolet designers. The production version debuted at the 2008 North American International Auto Show and will be available as a 2009 model.
The ZR1 was formally announced in a December 2007 press statement by General Motors, where it was revealed that their target of 100 horsepower/liter (1.64 hp/cu in) has been reached by a new "LS9" engine, an Eaton-supercharged 6.2-liter engine producing a confirmed 638 hp (476 kW) and 604 foot-pounds force (819 N·m) of torque with a sticker price of about US $100,000. The engine is the most powerful engine to be put into a GM production sports car.[24] Top speed is 205 mph (330 km/h)[25][26]. Along with an improved motor, the ZR1 also comes with extensive carbon-fiber body parts, including (but not limited to) wider fenders, the hood, roof panel, roof bow, front fascia splitter and rocker moldings. However, the car is heavier and more front weight biased than the Z06 because of the supercharger, with a weight distribution of 52% at the front and 48% at the rear. Tires were also increased in diameter and width, along with bigger and stronger brakes, adjustable suspension, and optional chrome wheels and a premium interior package.
