Pretty sure they were counting on this in 2016 as well but it didn’t happen

That’s my point though your level of certainty for what was at best a 25% likelihood position didn’t make any sense.

No it’s embarrassing for America. They wanted this, they wanted to vote for this idiot for some reason, they had enough reason not to and didn’t.

Right now that's the only hope I'm clinging to. But yea, it's looking more and more like this thing is over and America is now headed down a VERY dark path. This isn't gonna be good. For anyone.

I think we will know tonight...likely in the next couple of hours. Usually the urban centers are late to come in in the swing states and this time they seem faster and not as decisive.

It's difficult not to feel like America is getting the president they deserve...

Honestly, I don't care that much. I just hate seeing people like Trump get rewarded for being bad people.

Maybe a couple of them knew Trump was gonna win and decided to scab it up.

The only hope is the Democratic vote is late to trickle in.

She’s getting pounded with the popular vote.

Yes but the Democrats also have to look in the mirror. They are going to lose the popular vote in a high turnout election.

The last the GOP won both the popular vote and the electoral college was 2004.
