Lol how is this on Sutter? Let me guess you wanted him to start Vladar? Oh wait he sucks too. Some of these takes are ridiculous.

Honestly similar plays happen multiple times every game, if those are unstoppable NHL games would all end 8-6. If he's even just at the top of his crease and square to the puck it would hit him in the body and be seen as an easy save.
He let in 2 on 2 shots and has a .888 save percentage on the season, he doesnt get the benefit of the doubt.
Honestly it's driving me a bit bonkers the excuses people are making for the goaltenders and especially Markstrom. Neither of those goals tonight was a unstoppable goal. He's a $6M dollar, former Vezina candidate. He has to make some saves.
|
I never said it was unstoppable. I said the fact it was a triple screen and was why people weren't putting it all on him. It's getting to the point that it doesn't matter what goal goes in, it's on himn because "he has to make saves".
He's made more saves than the Avs goalie. How bout that.

Man, imagine what a big letdown the other players must feel. Getting yourself ready for a game, the mindset, physically, etc. Game starts and goalie immediately lets the team down. And this goes on the entire season. Just brutal.
