Amazing deal. Clear win for Tre. This time Tre isn’t gonna sit on these guys and let them walk. It’s re-sign or bye bye. Then we retool or rebuild. Phenomenal move. And that’s exactly why it clearly pisses off so many people who feed on the “worst off season ever, our team is tainted crowd”.

The Panthers get a younger signed player, the Flames need to sign two older players. If they do then they win the next few years, take on risk for backend years. Keeps the team competitive for now.

Okay! Well played by Treliving. Huberdeau I don't think will be a consistent 100+ point guy, just as Tkachuk won't be, but getting a 40+ point +40 defender, and a prospect, and a 1st round pick on top of Huberdeau? Pretty good value for the Flames.
