Looks like Vatanen traveled with the team and is a game time decision. Hopefully he doesn't play.
Yes, he was practicing this morning but was one of 4 Ducks on the ice after the main group left the ice. He looked to be close to playing and not in any kind of pain at all but was with the players who won't play tonight at the end.

So, last week was my wife's birthday and, due to an unfortunate combination of busyness and boobery on my part, I didn't get her anything (instead, I got the email that I could buy tickets for tonight's game and spent a lot of money on those). Needless to say, I've been looking for a way to make it up to her.
Today at lunch we were wandering through an art gallery and she commented on a sculpture of a Moose that she likes, so I ducked out this afternoon to buy it. I'm hoping that with the combination of buying a Moose (obviously to be named Elliott), getting back into her good books and taking her to her first playoff game, I'm contributing to some positive karma for the Flames.

Anyone know what time the parking on the north side of the dome opens? We have a pass and want to head down there soon. We know it'll be a zoo getting out as it always is, but oh well.
Must-win is overused but IMO it's fitting for tonight's game. The task of having to win four straight including two in the Honda Center seems too daunting a task.
A team being down 0-2 in a series has come back to win 12.7% of the time. However, they're haven't been any 0-2 comebacks since 2010. We're due.
2011. The Bruins dropped Games 1 and 2 in Vancouver, but then dominated on home ice and ultimately win game 7. I actually see some similarities to how the first two games of this series has played out.

Uh, this is obviously not true. I mean, for one, the 2011 cup final. Also, Kings/Sharks 2014. Those are just off the top of my head, I feel like there must have been others.

Less so. If they lose tonight then 9+ times out of 10 game 4 is just a chance to delay the inevitable. Win tonight and game 4 is a chance to even it up or end up on the brink of elimination. That's a pretty big swing.
First Flames home playoff game for Dougie, Tkachuk, Frolik, Elliott, Brouwer, Versteeg, Chiasson, Stone, Bartkowski and Johnson. Hope the C of Red is rocking tonight!
