This team literally pushed the Ducks around and pounded them 7-3 about 7 weeks ago. Today they go into Toronto after being embarrassed by their rival and get pushed around by a weak team. All this means is that there's no pride on this team. That all starts with GG.

Tre needs to make a coaching move right now before this team becomes the Country Club team that Playfair made.

Was it even a slew foot? Truthfully I was pretty focused on what hrudey and ball were saying about a possibly butt end. Which really wasn't much of anything. Didn't realize there was a possible slew foot. Or is Shannon getting mixed up with Bennett. I could understand that one getting a look.

If the Flames wanted to get revenge for the Komarov hit try and answer back with a big hit of your own. You don't try and slew foot two guys at the end of the game.

not sure what to think... Calgary HAS played better. Their win over SJ was terrific...

What happened since that win is a total mystery... the last week of games have been some of the worst hockey i've seen.

At this point, I'm tempted to just have them blow it up...Ain't winning a playoff round much less a SC with this group.

BT hitched his wagon to GG when other guys should have been at least interviewed or hired... that's going to be a big Scarlett Letter on his cv unless he can get the room to turn things around.

For the first time all year I am completely fine not renewing my season tickets next year unless something drastic changes.

The system was obviousy so micky mouse that it took a handful of games for teams to clue into it. The PP needs to have option A,B,C...they are lost now that teams take away the A option we saw work so well.

Guys are not playing to half their potential which is a huge concern. Everyone seems to be regressing. Chaisson is not a 1st line winger yet we continue the experiment, Ferland adds some much needed jam to the lineup... was he hurt or was the whole speed thing a worry tonight? I cant think of a better way to slow the leafs down then having that great 4th line cycle. Wideman looks like Glencross did as he was winding his career down.

At least the year started bad and I kept telling myself we would turn the corner after the 20 or so game mark they say it takes to learn a new system. This is 10x worse seeing the team get worse and not making any progress.

The teams sucks right now. I swore with anger for the first time in awhile tonight, but when the buzzer went, the flames were still in a playoff spot, the Kings lost, and the Canucks are still bound to falter when their upcoming road games against top teams happen. All that leads the flames to still be in the mix, something that everyone wanted at Game 1 of the season.
It's the "don't come around when we're good again" junk that irks people. I'm a sports fan, I have favourite teams in MLB, NHL, NFL. I post in message boards for all my teams. Nothing drives people crazier, on all the forums I belong to than fans that tell other fans how disloyal or bandwagon-y they are for getting mad and swearing off the team. The reason they get that upset is because they are fans and the losing is negatively affecting them. You aren't a higher quality fan because you see a silver lining that many (most) of us are having a hard time seeing right now.

Huge overreaction to the "slewfoots" going on, but it is kind of embarrassing we resort to lame tactics like butt-ends and two-handers at the end of the game after getting destroyed on the socreboard and outmatched physically.
Getting hard to stomach this team.

He tries a couple of times before getting the spot he wants. He has a name for that already. Kid better watch out you can't got around blatantly trying to injure players.

San Jose was a mirage, tiny backup, five defencemen, second game in a back-to-back.

The comments under the video are crazy. This rookie has generated Corey Perry, Ryan Kesler level hatred in half a season.

Tkachuk should have just thrown his shoulder square into the Leaf's head instead.

No penalty for that after all.

Meh - looks like a little knee to the back of the knee. Leaf goes down like a sack of potatoes.

Didn't watch the game tonight after the embarassment this team was on Saturday. I have decided to casually follow them with the same level of commitment they seem to show.

Would be nice to see some young guys down the stretch...but not that keen on watching this continue. Glad I was productive tonight instead.

For those hanging onto the thought of a playoff spot...name the team they are going to boot..because it sure as hell isn't Nashville, LA or Edmonton...

They need to push their figurative big red reset button and wipe the first 50 games from their memory. It's overall just been subpar. Gotta take a timeout and reflect on their individual strengths and what makes them successful and just go back to basics. Wipe the slate clean now. Forget playoffs and expectations and just work on playing a better overall game one game at a time. That's what matters most to us. The results will follow suit. Take a page from the 13-14 team's book and just work on making it hard on opponents night in, night out. Expectations have crushed this teams psyche and resulted in frustration.

Yeah trying to draw a penalty at the end of the game?
