He's been doing pretty well with Adirondack. He's missed a few practices, not sure if due to injury or maintenance days, but when he's playing in game he's set up a few good chances and been good on the backcheck taking pucks away from opposing players. More smart plays and scoring chances stand out in my memory then stupid plays and mistakes. His game against the Stars was probably the only disaster since he's been sent down, although he was still playing a good defensive game unfortunately due to the fact he was the one giving up the chances.
Last night with was with Wolf and Tousignant and playing a more physical and checking line role. That seems to be where Huska likes him. He had played with Reinhart, but it seems to be Tousignant-Seto and another winger for the last couple games. Previous games he's been 1st or 2nd line, although things are shuffling alot now with guys being sent down. It's a bit hard to say numbers of lines because we are rolling 4 good scoring lines right now. We don't seem to have a filler line anymore, it's all very skilled. He's 2nd unit on the PP. I believe he's also a PK guy as well.
I was really skeptical of him being in Addy and didn't want him, but he's been a good addition to the team and not the player he was in Calgary. I think the demotion and Huska may have driven a point home with him that this is his chance to prove himself and to do so because he's been playing a good game and working hard. He's not just there and floating so he can collect the paycheque.
