That hipsterific Oreo ad is really starting to grind my gears. They come on every single time...sometimes twice in a row.

Why does everyone applaud after the guy falls trying a jump in figure skating?

What a dumb "sport."

ok. I have to say this every Olympics.

I love Figure Skating. I like to think I could be a judge even though I know nothing of the terms involved. I love the athleticism of what these people can do on skates, maintaining their balance, form and technique at the end of the long program. My personal favorite of the figure skating events is pairs, as I find it so impressive to see a big dude skate along and literally throw his partner into the air and to have her land on one edge of one foot, at pace.

Yes, the judging is crooked.

Yes, many of the dudes are not the most macho athletes at the Olympic Village.

I don't care. I love watching it and probably always will.

Pairs figure skating is scary. How do they practice that stuff without the dude getting a skate blade to the face or the girl falling on her head?

Lost by 0.06 seconds! But he was so happy. Any medal in the downhill is worth it.. it's such a crapshoot. The guy in 4th was +0.29 so not much room for error!

I love watching the skiing events so much. I should really watch more of them between the Olympics.

So much excitement tonight. Short Track Speed Skating begins, Curling begins, Men's Moguls where there is a realistic shot at Gold and Silver, Women's Singles Luge, the exciting Super Combined.

Men's 500m in the long track goes today. It's actually very surprising this year that we might not get any long track speed skating medals. Growing up watching Catriona Le May Doan, Jeremy Wotherspoon, Cindy Klassen, Clara Hughes etc, it's very rare. Nesbitt and Morrison are our best shots but neither of them have any podium finishes this season after both dealing with issues in the past year.

Who here is a fan of Andrew Chang? I'm a fan of his anchoring thus far.

Anyone else think that Ilya Kovalchuk and Chloe Dufour-Lapointe look like they are related?

This announcer for the curling is killing me. The TSN team is so much better to listen to. It also would help if they had the curlers mic'd (or the volume turned up on them if they do have microphones on) since half the fun is listening to the curlers discuss their strategy.

Ya, these curling announcers are pretty bad compared to others I've heard through the season. They look to have mics on, but are not too sensitive....or pick up German better, not that I can understand them.

I'm sure I know what the Germans have been saying the last couple ends.

Forum filters won't let me post it though!

I think it a bit different cause for tsn and the scotties there's only one tv game. Here there are 4 tv games cause different countries are showing different games so can't jack up the mics cause all 8 teams are wearing them

Bad 9th end for Canada, hopefully they can hang on. Up 9-8 in the 10th, they have the hammer.
