[SIZE="4"]Build the Houses (not a federal jurisdiction)
Stop the Crime (also not a federal jurisdiction)
I don't think this flies. Criminal law is absolutely within Federal jurisdiction, and there are myriad ways that the federal government can subsidize or incentivize new home construction - exempting new home builds from GST is one obvious way that's been proposed.
There are definitely some things that the feds have limited control over but it doesn't seem to me like taking a position of "well, that's not up to us" on economic issues is going to convince anyone to vote for you.

Axe the Tax (so will Carney)
Build the Houses (not a federal jurisdiction)

I do find it funny that CPC supporters were grousing the Carney didn’t have any actual plans. Well he just released some pretty detailed ones - certainly more detailed than what Poilievre has put forward.
Ball’s in your court, slogan-man.
Yeah, part of the problem while the idea that the Liberals are stealing Conservative ideas and making them their own is that the Liberals are the ones actually putting some level and thought into these ideas.
It would be less of a problem if the slogans were backed but some fairly substantial policy proposals, but… they’re not. Carney was smart to pose the question: “Axe the tax… and then what?” because it highlights where the Liberals are shining and the Conservatives are failing. The CPC have had “ideas” for years… but there’s no indication they ever actually thought through those ideas.
It doesn’t help that when they do put some substance behind an idea (like the fentanyl/drug issue) it almost makes it even more apparent that they haven’t thought it through. Riddled with unconditional, self-contradicting and illogical nonsense.
I’m not sure PP or his team is equipped to develop or even talk about effective policy.
I won't vote for him until he comes out and says C-69 is gone. If he does, I'll vote Liberal (or whoever the moron is in my district who calls himself a Liberal MP).

Do you always post false information?
Carney is not going to 'axe the tax.' He has said he'll just reinvent it.
Housing is built locally, can be funded federally, and there is already evidence of federal funds actually doing that. Pay attention.
Crime is a federal issue, given the federal legislation that deals with many aspects around how crime is persecuted.

Cliff making #### up to try and justify his anti PP stance. Its laughable and pathetic at best. But what else is new.
It's fair to dump on the PC as many are but if the Liberals win the next election they have to do a much, much better job than they have done under Trudeau as they have put us in a weak position where we were ripe for what's going on with Trump. Time for this country to roll up its sleeves and invest into being more self sufficient as we need to work on means to get Canadian energy and products from coast to coast and provinces working together rather than against each other. Even when Trump is gone, there's no guarantee that another president won't put the squeeze on Canada. It's clear that nobody really cares about Canada but Canadians, and we need to stop worrying about our image to the rest of the world and do what's best for Canada.

The carbon tax needs to be created to not just tax carbon, but to invest the taxed portion back into programs to help people switch to low carbon or zero carbon options.
Something I've said many times, there are not a lot of incentive programs around to help small business accomplish this. Its ridiculous.

You get the money back, and as I'd expect Conservatives to support, you get to choose how to spend it. The government doesn't require you do buy trees or spinach with it. You could invest it in whatever upgrade you want, or nothing at all, and burn diesel with the freedom you have to decide. Isn't that free market hands off government approach, vs you wanting the government to decide how the money is spent? Sometimes I wonder if you are just a closet communist.

Have you thought of how much Carney's transfer of carbon taxes to industry will affect price of goods.
Have you thought about the possible influence of Carney's close associate, Guilbeault, and his environmental extremist mindset.
Have you thought about Carney's prominent role in fighting climate change and how his policies may alienate the West, and its ability to produce oil and gas.
Have you thought about how Carney's ideas on disadvantaging countries that export carbon will affect Canada.
The problem is CP is infested by one sided, rude people, who do everything possible to stifle conversation meant to get establish the truth, which often ends up somewhere in between the polarized views

Tell everyone it will be a rebate. Not actually give the rebate for years. Then give the rebate years later, but charge taxes on it. Not actually rebate the amount originally stated. And then tell people to spend the rebate on incentives to avoid an even higher upcoming carbon tax rate. Years after being out of pocket.
Or is that Fuzz logic. Either way, pretty delusional.
Also, no inflationary outcomes in that scenario. None. At. All.

Fuzz logic. Worse than bootlicker logic.
I suggest you actually look at what the studies have shown about the effects of the carbon tax. It's done more than any other effort to reduce emissions and has little to no effect on the economy.

Can someone tell me the two provinces that didn’t sign on to the childcare plan as if it wasn’t painfully obvious that it’s our home turdpile and our chuckle#### neighbours to the East.
