Website hours? I've never heard of that. Other than when certain pages are closed for maintenance or whatever
Yup, website hours. As in "these are the hours the site is open". I was able to log into the site this morning because it's "open". And as I said in my original post I was unable to login, but was given no prompt that said "please login during business hours".
When I make an appointment for a haircut so I don't have to play the how many people are there to wait for roulette and they completely ignore the appointment for walking. Don't take appointments then. I went to westbrook mall for F sakes, if I am going to walk in I win;t going there. So now I need a new haircutter in the SW.
Any recommendations?
Is Gay Ray's still open by My Favourite Ice Cream Shop?
Wait I think he closed when the base closed.

There is a barber there, not sure if its gay rays? Not sure I want to go to gay rays.
Why not, you'll leave looking fabulous. I stopped going to hairdressers after realizing the barber is much faster and cheaper, if the barber is busy I leave and come back another time.
Have always wanted to lick the barbershop pole. Is it peppermint or spearmint flavoured?
Blood flavoured.
Quote:
The origin of the red and white barber pole is associated with the service of bloodletting and was historically a representation of bloody bandages wrapped around a pole. During medieval times, barbers performed surgery on customers, as well as tooth extractions. The original pole had a brass wash basin at the top (representing the vessel in which leeches were kept) and bottom (representing the basin that received the blood). The pole itself represents the staff that the patient gripped during the procedure to encourage blood flow.

Nope. You are the problem if you think that. I have driven that spot many times (if this where glenmore turns off to 14th). Buddy's lane was not ending, he could have just safely kept going. When YOU make a mistake, YOU and YOU only should be the one to be inconvenienced, you act like a decent human being and go past the turnoff and make your way back.
If you put other people at risk for serious injury, you deserve violence because you don't want to be 2 minutes later.
These types of moves should carry HEAVY fines and major demerits.
That turnoff is one of the worst in the city.
People that force others to take evasive actions because they made a mistake deserve to die of cancer. Such a selfish, selfish mindset.
Buddy was in no risk of harm and he put countless others in harms way.
Oh man, can't agree more. GMG when people who miss a turn or screwed up by not pay attention, inconvenience other people on the road. If you missed a turn, too bad, keep going forward and turn around somewhere else. Don't hold up traffic because you're trying to do an illegal U turn, or stop the flow of traffic because you are trying to signal into a turning lane. It's your own fault, and you better believe I'm going to lay the horn on you if I'm stuck behind you.

Just a garbage user experience.
Petrinex (AB petroleum registry) is like that. Though they do publish hours of operation, it still boggles my mind that a website would CLOSE for anything other than maintenance. (And don't get me started about their monthly maintenance during business hours!)

At the end of the day it's nothing short of lazy to have "website hours".
It's fine if you're dealing with something like the stock market or banking to say "markets are now closed, any transactions submitted after hours will be processed the next business day". Or to even disable certain functions during certain hours (EG: markets are closed, transactions can not be submitted) but to simply disable logins during your "closed" hours is straight up lazy & sloppy.

Driving back from Lethbridge Friday and I take the back way through Carseland its a 2 lane highway. When I get near Carseland i'm behind a gas truck and a car. We get to a passing lane and I pull left to pass doing about 120-125km/h. I pass the gas truck and as I get near the car he decides i'm going to fast and signals and pretends to change lane into me and then when i'm ahead of him starts flashing his lights at me.
Of course this was an old man pissed off that someone is going faster than him but even after I passed him the gas truck still passed so I don't know what he was thinking. Something like this could scare some drivers into an accident its one of the dumbest things I have seen.
RWGMG are people that use exclamation points in professional correspondence. Even worse if they use more than one. Same goes for the use of multiple question marks at the end of a sentence.
I am currently dealing with an individual that does this in emails, letters and fax(s).

Crossing a street today and almost get hit by a lady looking at her phone. Had to dodge out of the way, and get sprayed with mud by her as she goes past. That grinds my gears, but what really pissed me off was waiting at the light, going the other direction was a cop, and he does nothing!! Nothing!!! I start yelling at the cop when I get over to the other side of the street, he looks at me like I'm a crazy person, and then drives off when the light turns green. I'm flabbergasted.
Also, that lady never once noticed me, didn't look up at all and I didn't see her brakes go on once after she almost hit me. She was probably running the light a good 3 seconds after the walk symbol had turned on for me.
Wanted HID lights in my truck when I bought it. They don't make OEM ones for this model, but the dealer offered to sell me a focused/led headlight at cost and then install it. I said I'd install them but the dealership convinced me to pay for the install so the upgrade would be covered under warranty. Fine.
Fast forward to today, low-beam burns out (after 35k, which grinds my gears on its own). Turns out it's covered under warranty before 60k. Bring it into the dealer (a half hour drive away) instead of my local shop because it's covered. After sitting here 2 hours past when they said they'd have it ready, I'm informed that it's just rolled into the shop now, but because it's "aftermarket" they're not covering it under warranty.
Also, the fact that it takes removing my front bumper and grill to change my fataing headlight bulbs rgmg.
wrgmg.... flipping over to the canucks game after the flames game tonight to see them beating the islanders 3-0 at the end of the second and then to find out that they gave up 6 goals in the third while i had tv on a different channel.
at least i got to see the 7th one go in
