No he didnt get DS in the head, but so what? He intentionally tried to curb stomp another player....Goodelll simply will not stand for that crap and thank goodness he wont.
The fact that he stepped on somebody's arm while standing up is a huge difference from when Haynesworth was standing up saw the guy had lost his helmet and raked his foot down and across the players exposed face.

They are very, very different incidents in terms of what actually and especially intent.

Cowboys win 20-19 over Miami on a last second 28 yard FG. Dallas is now 7-4.

Miami with field goals from 23, 26, 27, 28.

Pitiful. When are coaches going to learn that it is mathematically advantageous to gamble on 4th down, especially in the red zone. Many papers have been written on the topic, but coaches continue to play it safe and 'take the 3 points.' (The exception, of course, would be the FG at the end of the 2nd quarter.)

eg. If you kick a FG, your expected value (EV) is 3pts (assuming you always make it). If you convert a TD on 4th down 3/7 (43%) of the time, your expected value is 3 points. Even if your conversation rate is as low as 25% (EV = 1.75pts), as long as you can stifle the offense ~35% of the time, you'll have good field position and regain those 1.25 pts you lost on your initial drive, and more.

Not going for the 2-pt convert also came back to bite them, but that one is more defensible.

Or just get two first downs when you have the ball with 3:00 minutes remaining.

play it safe or 4th down gambles, at the end of the day it comes down to execution. The field goals where not the problem, leaving the door open and hoping the cowboys wouldn't walk through it was

Yep, either he can't control his team or they just take up after his lack of emotional control

today + all of Suh's prior incidents (forearm to back of Cutlers head, trying to rip the helmet's of Dalton and Delhomme off) + the way they reacted when the Bears crushed them this year

San Fran is the 1st team in NFL history to cross 3 time zones to play in a 4 day turnaround game.
Rough schedule for this week and Baltimore has a huge chance to give SF their 2nd loss of the season. I took Baltimore to win this week.

I really don't understand why Cam Cameron thought that was a good idea, his play calling in the redzone is pretty bad.

Hate those calls on 2nd/3rd down by the Ravens. 2nd & goal on the 1 foot line with a bowling ball back, and you run a sweep on 2nd that loses 4 yards, then call a QB sneak that goes nowhere. Terrible. Just bang it in!

Flacco should not run it, he's slow, white and not agile at all.

I was also confused with the redzone playcalling. Gut run and at worse you are 3rd and 1 like you started.

This game is a brawl.

The Ravens are taking advantage of Anthony Davis who has been a lot better this year but hasn't seen anything like what is being thrown at him tonight. The right side of the line is collapsing.

Best touchdownless game I've watched in a long time. These are the definitions of 'bend-don't-break' defenses, and every first down has been uplifting

A touchdown!

Pretty weak man coverage of that play. Inside the 20's you need to get inside.

Good game. Excellent play by the Ravens.
Shows how much work is still left for the offense. No worries, it'll come.
