The worst part of the vote tabulator thing is that it is all related to the fake Trump stolen election

Which really was disproven and the "news" agencies that kept pushing that narrative because of these machines were sued or settled out of court for their lies.

The worst part is that our leaders are dumb enough that they made this a actual issue we are spending taxpayer dollars on. Stupid nonsense is out there everywhere, it's up to a good leader to parse what needs attention.

This is actually getting worrisome that all these ass-backwards ideological bills and policies being passed (rammed through). And we have at least another three years with these archaic psychopaths running this province. This is now careening into the absolute fringes of right-wing extremism. Where are the moderate conservatives that should be putting their foot down on the chaos these clowns are sowing? They have a voice and should absolutely be using it; it's a powerful one too.

It's more important to collective a safe paycheque, keep your mouth shut and fall in line than it is to ring the alarm bells.
If there was ever a time to go independent or switch sides, now is the time. Even Marlaina pulled that stunt and it clearly didn't hurt her career.
####ing cowards sitting in that governing party. Cowards who can make a difference by disrupting the balance.

I love that calgarygeologist has gone full socialist on this one...
Quote:
While traveling by car during one of his many overseas travels, Professor Milton Friedman spotted scores of road builders moving earth with shovels instead of modern machinery. When he asked why powerful equipment wasn’t used instead of so many laborers, his host told him it was to keep employment high in the construction industry. If they used tractors or modern road building equipment, fewer people would have jobs was his host’s logic.
“Then instead of shovels, why don’t you give them spoons and create even more jobs?” Friedman inquired.

While i definitely skew left, if we're going to be wasting money on superfluous job creation... I'd much rather it be in an area that will provide far greater long-term impact whether it be transferable skills, infrastructure, community investment.

Gee, it's almost like treating people like disposable trash makes them not want to keep doing stuff. Fascinating.

Half of the population is treated like disposable trash, nurses are just new to the game. Just look at minimum wage vs. living wage.
With nurses, it's burnout directly attributed to provincial decisions. With everyone else, they have to stay where they are because of shifting social norms and fear of death. Good times.

Do you have $2 million dollars so he can assemble a panel and give you the same opinions he has anyway before he gets paid?

In another move that no one, except her extremist base, asked for. Danielle Smith and the UCP are amending the Alberta Bill of Rights to strengthen gun access and ownership and specifically deny vaccines and other medical procedures. She sure is hoping to shore up her support ahead of the November leadership review with the TBA.
Get ready for moar gun toting freedumb, muh rights, 'Murika style protests.

What even is the AB bill of rights? Do other provinces have their own? I assume it can't supplant the Canadian one, which means at best, it can echo them. What's the point of this thing? Looks like some red tape that could be harmlessly cut.

I’m tempted to register so I can vote against Smith. Don’t know if they’d reject me because I joined the NDP a few years ago to support a candidate I favoured.
