Pretty impressive number of players in the stats on Steam for Skyrim on the first day. PC gaming is far from dead. Even with a console option games like BF3, MW3 and Skyrim can still sell a couple million on PC's.

Like the left mouse button? The left hand always works, but right hand never works.

Once you've added something to the favorites menu click it with either the left or right mouse button (when selecting from the favorites menu) to assign it to that button.

I haven't had any issues, what are you trying to put in your other hand? If you're using a 2 handed weapon does that matter? I'm not sure.

If you're playing on PC, couldn't you temporarily enable godmode to get out of a deathloop?

He's selling an Xbox copy in the buy/sell so it sounds like that's one reason he's getting rid of it so he can get the PC version

Got to play for 1.5 hours yesterday and killed 15 people in that time. Pretty good record methinks.

Haven't had a chance to play, but it has to be better than the way Oblivion's basically turned into "keep cycling until you get the slow fall".

It's the exact same as Fallout 3.
You just turn the thing and try not to break your pick when you "feel" resistance.

I'm liking the game so far, plays a lot like Oblivion (for obvious reasons), but I like the stuff they got from Fallout (the cutscene kills). Only level 4 right now and faced a giant. Let's just say when he smashed the ground with his maul I went flying into the sky a good 300m.
My brother is already level 25+.

I'm having fun with it so far. Playing as a high elf/mage character. Combining two different spells in each hand can be super powerful, and finish off enemies quickly. If I get backed into a corner though, then I'm the one finished off quickly.
Seems a lot of the annoying things from Oblivion are streamlined... thank God they cleaned up their menu system. It was a pain in the old one to equip your character, find things in the inventory, etc. Much nicer now. Not sure what too think about the leveling system yet. Was over-complicated in Oblivion, but it seems a bit too simple now. I'm hoping I'm going to be able to customize the character a bit as time goes on by more than just picking a perk when I level.

A question since I just started the game. I know that to level your guy you have to level the sub-skills.
Is there exp. though too? Like from killing guys and doing quests which levels you up as well?

facing those giants becomes a lot easier if you take the route to become a werewolf. took on 2 of them at once and one actually started to run away from me in fear

No. Leveling is all based on points you get from raising your skill levels. And you get more points for higher levels (ie raising a skill from 20 to 21 gets you a lot more points than raising another skill from 5 to 6). So if you want to level quickly concentrate on the few skills you use the most.
Rewards for doing quests and killing enemies are just the loot you collect.
