I immediately thought of MGD, Sol, and Corona, but since they are owned by MillerCoors, and InBev (via Modelo and FEMSA)... and Sleeman owned by Sapporo Breweries, I have no clue how that could be.

As alot of you know, I'm a student, and I work part-time at a liquor store during the school year. I swear to God I've never seen anything as popular as this stuff has been the past month. Last night I probably had 15 people either call or come in specifically for Bud Light Lime(and we're an out of the way store that only gets around 75 customers a day). I have to try this stuff, apparently it's the new water.
For the record, the entire province is out. So quit hassling me, you carpetbaggers!

That's stupid. Just buy the Big Rock stuff and drink both. Seriously? You had to question that?

Had an idea!

The people who came up with the idea of selling it in the US first, and letting the anticipation build here in Canada are pretty smart.
That being said, the Big Rock Lime will be better. Anything Big Rock is better.

I tried a couple bottles of BLL last weekend. It was alright.. definitely not a bad beer. Did not live up to the hype though. Corona with a lime is better and cheaper than paying $14 for a sixer of BLL.
I will be trying the Big Rock Lime, the consistently put out pretty awesome beers.

It is a novelty so I imagine initial BLL sales are great but how much repeat business do they get other than chicks, who don't buy much beer for the most part anyways. I still want to try this beer.

That's what alot of my customers have told me, that its kinda girly beer. I don't like stuff like Rickard's White, so I bet I'll find it too sweet. All depends on what you like I guess.

When we were in Washington state on the weekend, we ordered a bud light lime, and the waitress/bartender said they were out, but she could make us one - and she proceeded to put lime juice in bud light.
So if you feel like you are missing out on the BLL - go buy some bud light and lime juice - bob's your uncle!

I had my first Bud Light Lime a couple weeks ago while I was in Ontario. I thought it tasted like pregnant mare's urine with a squirt of Real Lime. Luckily, it was given to me by a friend so I didn't waste any money on it.

It is a decent summer patio beer, in the vein of Corona. But it by no means will replace a good Keiths or even Old Milwaukee in terms of my stocked fridge.

Tried Big Rock Lime at my local store here. The Manager let me try some they got in...not for sale until tomorrow.
I like BLL better personally. A lot less lime in the Big Rock Lime and it has a heavier "Big Rock" taste. It is not bad though. I suppose it would do in a pinch if I had no access to BLL.

I'm not disputing your info, but again, how can you copyright clear? It's nothing! Stupid copyright things, preventing me from getting average at best beer haha.
