I think Kuzmenko had one shift in the third?

Not that it matters.

And for some reason they decided to make this an early game in Vegas. That plus the time change was a rough travel schedule.

They played a good game and didn't give up. 2 games in 24 hours. Can't ask for much more.

Sharangovich. Is. Useless. Why is he on the ice at this point in the game?

In the end they lost this game when they had pretty much a full 2 minute 5-3 and a 4 minute powerplay and they couldn't score.

Needed to get at least one there and couldn't.

Anyone see Andersson giving a thumbs up to the referees face.

Which is exactly why they should be selling anything of value and plummeting down the standings.

At least Vlad was actually good tonight. Neither of the 2 goals when he was in net did he even have any realistic chance of saving. And he was sensational in the 1st period.

Can you find actual citation for that?

Stone said after he signed the extension that he wanted to sign with Vegas, which is what you’d expect a guy to say. I don’t believe he actually said he unwilling to sign elsewhere, and I don’t believe there was any actual reporting saying he was only willing to negotiate with Vegas/wouldn’t negotiate with anyone else.

The Flames went to bed the night before believing they were acquiring (speculating) Stone (there was an interview with an AGM I believe who said they went to bed believing they had a deal done, but it had changed when they woke up). The rumours were Ottawa’s ask of Valimaki/Brannstrom, with Vegas willing to go there and Calgary not - and Vegas went there on the day of.

Must be maddening to get no run support.

It's carried over since backing up Markstrom.
