Forge will lose tonight for sure, but I am amazed by how much respect the bookies are showing to us next week. Cavalry are actually very slightly favoured to lose by less than one goal. +1 -118, whereas Pumas are -1 -107. Pumas must be looking to send their youth team to Victoria before they hammer us in front of their home fans in the return leg.

Is the sizing consistent from previous seasons?

Seemed to fit the same as last year.

I have the same size as my others (XXL, which is hilarious if you know me!), and it fits the same as prior years.
I’ve seen a few Cavs fans in Victoria today and if you’re around, flip me a PM!

For anyone in Victoria, pregame is at Irish Times and postgame is at Sticky Wicket.

Per YYC Soccer, Owen Antoniuk and Max Piepgrass have been signed to short term contracts and will be available for selection tomorrow.
Chanan Chanda has a minor knock and Mael Henry is being held out for precautionary reasons while recovering from last year's injury.

I’m a little surprised the refs are letting them play tonight in Hamilton. That plastic pitch is so slippery it looks downright dangerous.
Forge losing on a goal I think their keeper could’ve done better on. Actually never mind. They just showed another replay. What a strike into the corner
Wow, and now a beautiful free kick goal for Monterrey. It’s good for the soul

Forge were completely dominated from start to finish but somehow had two clear cut chances that they should have taken. Very poor advertisement for the league, I think the carpet in my living room is better suited for a football match.

Cold in Victoria but imagine if they played tonight's game here!

Having FOMO today about not being in Victoria. Kudos to you folks who made the trip. Be loud and rep us all well!
I'll make an away trip one of these days (I hope)
Lineup predictions? I imagine it'll be very close to the final XI but with Kobza replacing Klomp and maybe Trafford getting a start for either Camargo or Herdman to provide some steel and wily gamesmanship in the middle of the field.

Thinking Cavs will put out their strongest lineup to start....
Tobi
Herdman - Camargo - Musse
Shome - Gutierrez
Kamdem - Montgomery - Kobza - Aird
Marco

So strange to have Cavs playing at this time of year. Not complaining, but it is tough to wrap my head around. Last year was the same.
Any word on ticket sales? Unfortunately I expect it to be a low turnout because a) not their team, b) it will a chilly one. I respect anyone local who goes despite that. And even more respect to those taking a flight to this "home" game.
It won't matter to me, especially if we put on a good show and bag a goal or two.

Per this article over 3500 have been sold. Which is pretty good given the weather and that the local team isn't in the match.

^^3500 is super impressive IMO, given the circumstances.
I'm starting to buzz a little bit over this game now. None of my buddies could fly with me to Vic, and actually none of my buddies can hang out tonight either at Kildares. (maybe I have bad friends?).
So I'll just be watching at home with my wife.

There seems to be a good contingent of Cavs fans here. There were flight issues for people this morning, and maybe a bunch who won’t make it as a result, but there are quite a few in town.

Wow - 3500 is far beyond my expectations. That's awesome.
