Kirkland just closes off the lane and doesn't really contact him all that much. Draisaitl launches himself into the boards face first trying to draw a penalty. All he got on that play was a minor self-inflicted concussion.
What a jackass. I hope he never wins anything. Just a despicable hockey player.
Pissy got paid. I CAN NOT wait to see how bad he will be this year. That contract is going to CURDLE.

Watching I thought it wactually did help the Flames. Oilers lose the possession they were going to have, even if they win the draw they have to reorganize, and maybe they have to put Skinner back in for the draw.
Hahahahhaha. In the McDufus postgame interview he kept repeating the phrases from his hissy fit in the documentary. He said “ not good enough” a few times, and even mentioned that he says that a lot.
Pick one! Either one! I prefer the Traditional Moon, but I'm open to new experiences.
CHED is great at the moment. The players just sound so defeated.
And...while I love that...it is only 3 games into the season. Theres a long ways to go yet.
Then I pick the Temporary Moon. It's due to leave Earth orbit around U.S. Thanksgiving, by which time the standings will be meaningful. Meanwhile, let us enjoy twice the lunacy!

yeah I 've seen lots of complaining about this one online don't really get it...would have screwed the Flames for sure had they called icing and it stood- oilers would get a timeout and faceoff in Flames end
it was a dumb whistle but once it happened seems like a neutral to me- yes oilers lose auto possession but they got the puck to center and the time out for their big guns
am I missing something?
Yes, IMO. See what I said above regarding possession and the goalie.
