Thats it.
Starting Vladar is an issue ....how? He's the backup G. Its literally his job to play games once in a while.
I cannot believe we have people already blaming coaching and ironically because one of the players in that room has let us know that the guys are not doing what is asked.....unless you believe that Huska is asking each guy to play his own game and no coaching is actually involved.
Dumbfounded.
|
I'm not sure how anyone can watch that Detroit game and think - oh this is going well. They've had decent stretches, but I strongly doubt that the coaching staff is at all happy with the progress to date.

Lets say the Sens and Wings are in...whos out? Like the Panthers might have to play at a 102 pace from today out to sneak in.

Boston doesn't look like taking a step back either, so everyone predicting their fall from grace were a little quick as well. I think that Florida is the natural team to take a step back if any of the none playoff teams - Buffalo, Sens, Red Wings - are making it this year. It's going to be tough sledding in the East.
Of course, it is early so lots can happen - as I keep saying to myself about the Flames.

I think Markstrom, Lindholm and Duehr are all close in terms of their play thus far.

Is 7:45 the NHL start time or is puck drop at 7:45 like it should be?

Sadly, it's a short list. That is the problem.

Zad is a breath of fresh air. Yeah....he made some bad decisions...who hasn't this year....there's a whole roster of blunders right now .
These guys need a rockem sockem game and or a bench clearing brawl to activate the competitive juices and spike the GAF meter me thinks .
Or....Conny needs to pull the trigger and get rid of the dead weight we.dont know about.
If Zad is alluding to something AND HE IS....I hope the message gets a full investigation because if this team doesn't figure S out fast while the oilers are sulking and other team are struggling this team doesn't have the scoring to make a surge and no goalie could hold.this team in it for very long to make a difference either.
Just F ing play hard. Please guys . This show is getting old, predictable and stale.

Agree, but my point was that Lindholm hasn't been better by far than anyone else on the team so far.

Puck drop will probably be 7:52 or something..
The league is trying to stagger its start times now.

In overall play no way has Duehr been close, if you are saying for the expectation of what he can do then sure.

Last year it was a Huberdeau hattrick, I think I made it easier.

Not sure why take out Greer for Hunt, to keep the average 4th line height below 6 feet?

I don’t foresee much difference with shuffling the forward lines. The offensive system is thoroughly trash, as it is identical to last season.
If the PP can get going, that’ll make a difference.
