The level of giddiness I see from some of you about the potential Israeli attack on Gaza is truly sickening.

What an awful situation, no matter what has happened in the past, what is about to happen is death will rain down in thousands of people, many if them not armed combatants. Instability will come to a region that will have spillover effects. I don’t even know what a reasonable way forward is anymore, I can’t blame Israel for the response they are having. But it won’t result in peace in the region by itself.

I can’t help but think the happiest guy in the world today is Putin. This will distract the world, he’s a winner here….

Gaza is the specific area that Israel withdrew all jews from and gave complete independence to Palestinians. You know what Palestinians did with that opportunity? They have continually launched rockets and attacked Israel and abused their own people, for nearly two decades.

You know what else they can do? Educate their people and prove to the world that they desire peaceful coexistence. Gaza did the complete opposite, israel has warned the world for years, and instead of nations putting pressure on Gaza, they blamed Israel, that disgusting support for Hamas led to where we are today.

I think for me it is because some countries were giving money to Hamas, so they misinform by calling them more respectful names. That money has armed Hamas, Hezbollah, Iran, etc.

You don’t speak for a “we.” Q has said nothing of the sort, meanwhile a poster in this thread has actually said they hate Palestinians and wished that other posters here were victims of the terrorist attack, which is sick.

Claiming that people hate Jews/Israel for no reason is absurd and childish enough as it is, but doubling down and suggesting people actually want violence is ridiculous.

Imagine if the Arab world and the Palestinians collectively decided to end their jihadist quest to destroy Israel and work towards peace. This could have been over 30 years ago but at every turn the Palestinians and their leadership fail to see the reality of the situation. What will happen in the coming weeks is not something anyone is giddy about but it is the direct result of decades of Palestinian refusal to reform their society and come to terms with reality. I have asked online countless times, with all of the hatred towards Israel, there must be really good video evidence of the atrocities, just like what Hamas provided yesterday. But that footage never arrives on Israeli atrocities, instead there is a heavy onslaught of manufactured outrage videos against Israel that are clearly propaganda and heavily edited or narrated. Imagine the same being produced against any other marginalized group.

Its so obvious that the end game of this strike isn't the Liberation of Israel from the Jews, but to invite Israel into a devestating strike where thousands of Palestinians are killed.

But that isn’t what happened as has been explained numerous times in this thread.

Israeli arabs have better quality of life and freedoms than they would under Palestinian rule. They also have the same quality of life and freedoms as Israeli Jews.

The nation wasn’t colonized either, stop with the misinformation. Multiple nations were created in the area…any guess which one you hate?

West Bank and Gaza different story. Israel was correct all along, a strong military presence is required to keep Gaza, West Bank and Hezbollah from militarizing, the palestinians seem to support the attacks. Yesterday proved it once again and you still point fingers while enjoying the same rights and freedoms that Palestinians don't have when governed by their own people.

You are very clewr with your hate, never offer anything to support coexistence, just Israel bad, Hamas or whomever is good.
