Every other player on that list other than Barkov is a defenseman.

Conclusion: Calgary has bad defensemen.

Eh, it's not so bad. 4 of the top 20(tied with FLA). So maybe second best? Tanev top 10!

Flames are in the last stretch of meaningless games while resting some guys and tinkering with the lines and still found a way to win. Yet some here are still "concerned"

Personally I am glad they are finding ways to win meaningless games without a full lineup. Seems like that's what good teams are supposed to do.

This, absolutely. There's no reason to take these games seriously. They are still putting together wins. Be not afraid. Send your optimistic energy only. We're going on a run.

Flames will now start showing up on the daily clinching scenarios (starting Thursday). Easy path is a win and they clinch a playoff spot.

There is another scenario where they can still clinch a playoff spot on Thursday with a loss in OT/SO, but it requires LA losing to the Aves tonight.

Clinching the division will have to wait until the weekend.

the Flames Foundation could raise infinity dollars by auctioning off the chance to watch a hockey game with Daryl and Guy (* of course this couldn't by definition be a Flames game. last night's Oilers/Wild game would have been fine for example)

the list all time of players >+56 and >100 points is really quite a) old b) small and c) elite

on quick perusal the only non HOFer are Hadfield 50 years ago when playing with 2 HOFers the GAG line went off and Pete Mahovlich playing on what might have been the best team ever with Lafleur and the gang, oh and I suppose Ken Hodge running with Espo and Orr

otherwise its mostly inner circle HOFers (Orr/Espo, Gretz, Trottier/Bossy, Lafleur, Clarke) or their HOFer linemates/teammates

They allowed 22 shots...dominated is a little overblown
Seattle beat the Stars 4-1 last week, also beat the Preds recently

Flames likely playoff opponent for round one

Gaudreau has 9 GWG, Lindholm 8, and Tkachuk 6 for a total of 23. That is half of Flames victories this season!!
