89 and 04 were good I think?

You aren’t going 16-0 in the playoffs with all 16 wins being Rembrandts.

There was something said before the game that they've never played the same goalie on back to backs this season. I think that's something though in the playoffs you need to consider breaking.

Flames got lucky today, but you need a bit luck to go far in the playoffs anyway. I thought that they were atrocious defensively, tightened-up nicely for stretches, and kept bending but never breaking.

Is it just me, or does most of the Dallas Stars have a punchable face? Benn, Seguin, Perry... and especially Radulov for some reason. I saw that patented "Comeau Lap" developing, and cracked up hard when Cuthbert mentioned it.

Talbot was good, posts were solid when they needed to be, and the Flames got the win.

Also, good job by Rinaldo on Brodie's goal - he did an excellent job of causing havoc in front of the net and screening the goalie. That goal doesn't happen without him right there.

Johnny at least looked a bit more dangerous tonight - whole line did, actually. Hopefully it is just a step that they can build on for next game. I really liked Mangiapane's game tonight - really patient with the puck tonight, and I thought he was going to score at some point. Him and Dube are two workhorses with 200ft ability. Really nice to see them playing the right way.

Also, refs really suck this series. They are letting some more egregious penalties go, and are calling softer ones. Really annoying me in this series, and reffing is usually not something that bothers me too much.

Talbot stole us one tonight. Take it and the momentum to Sunday! Need a hot goalie to win Mr. SC and its looking better after that performance. Still need some of our top guys to get in gear but if we can have flashes of vintage Kipper during this run, that would be sweet. I am so pumped!! GFG

When they decide who advances, they don’t ask how — they ask how many.

Talbot obviously was the MVP tonight, but credit the Flames for tying up sticks in front and not allowing for rebounds around the net. If only they could stop handling the puck like a grenade in their own end, and giving the Stars second and third opportunities to set up chances. Yeesh.

Some things to clean up for pivotal game four, but much better being up 2-1 than being down 2-1. Let’s keep it rolling!

Huge win. Definitely stole this one and I once again gladly eat crow saying they should have started Rittich. Great game by Talbot

I honestly think that the ice in that building is pretty poor quality, or they're clueless on puck freezing, because there is a lot of erratic puck bouncing.

But it is Edmonton and they have a low skills.

I’d like to see the stretch a big Flames flag over that stinky logo.
