I thought Andersson was fantastic covering McDavid on the 3vs3. He's going to be a good one.

Made a sweet saucer pass to Brodie for a breakaway.

In a very exciting game, did anyone else notice how a number of Flames were playing Neal very physical? I guessing not too many friendships left here.

You are basically asking him to cost us the game Kassian style, he’s too smart for that.
I still like Lucic’s game. He gets the puck out, he moves it up ice well. The puck is in the opposition end more often than not with him on the ice. And I can’t remember a defensive gaffe from him.

Weak games from Hanifin and Gaudreau IMO. Didn’t really see much Rinaldo. I didn’t think Buddy was as effective as last game. Monahan was OK but he didn’t get much help. Chucky contributed to two goals, but I didn’t think he was a force.

But IMO really good efforts from Mangiapane, Gio, Hamonic (despite the one goal he was strong the rest of the game), Rittich, Andersson, Ryan, Brodie, Lindholm, Bennett. No complaints about Reider really.

The Flames have dominated the Oilers this season.

Disagree. Gaudreau didn't get any points but he was visible trying to make plays. It also doesn't help that we were on the PK for most of the 3rd period.

I’m not sure Buddy’s energy game can last for the minutes that being on the Monahan line will entail.

He talked #### about Tkachuk...not to mention he bailed on them in the playoffs, Calgary would have come home tied 2-2 if Neal felt like back checking

Agreed. His passes were well placed and his instincts were actually there. Had drive, played tough. Tonight was the perfect blueprint for Sammy.

Interesting. I felt Rieder was most responsible for the Oilers 1st goal.

Buddy was not very noticeable after the 1st period. He better find some energy, we need it.
