Glad they're doing the usual single day off, not multiple ones off usually done for TV purposes. Though this series is at the bottom of the totem pole for Canadian and American TV broadcast networks, which is probably why there are no special considerations.
Plus Mon/Wed works better personally for me than Tue/Thu. Next up, broadcasters....
I think the Flames in 7 but it will be a punishing series. If the Flames can do this they will probably get the Oilers in round 2. McJesus and his whistle-blowing, zebra disciples will get them there.
I almost facetiously chose 'Flames in 4' purely homeristic, the same thing that made me 'One of the Nine' about a decade ago, lol. Realistically though I am picking Flames in 6; beat the curse winning one at the Honda Center and then win all 3 home games.
I don't know why. And I don't know how. But for some strange reason I think we can beat these guys. I just think it's our turn and we'll beat the curse and move on to the second round.
Flames have been playing sloppy, Ducks have been on a roll despite injuries, and of course the curse. This is the least excited I've ever been for a Flames playoff series. I think they'll scrape out a win in the dome for game 3, but that'll be as much as they can muster. Ducks in 5

For Canadian broadcasters:
Leafs
Montreal
McDavid
Ottawa (simply by being an eastern team)
Calgary
is the order of hierarchy of this years first round playoff series when it comes to Sportsnet.
Any Canadian team in a series vs a US team for US broadcasters mean terrible ratings because they can measure only one US city for viewership.
