I thought Wideman played a good game. He was steady in his own end, made the quick easy play and was shooting the puck all night. We desperately need a bomb from the point and he was putting them towards the net all night.
When Wideman is on, him and Gaudreau have really good chemistry together. Wideman could of had a couple tonight.
I definitely agree. He had two really good chances from the high slot as well, but they were both blocked.
No goats tonight, except for the PP. Chicago was able to raise their PK% by several % tonight. Fire Cameron, obviously.

So ..is Toews the nhl record setter already for forwards making over $7million on cap (let alone $10.5 million...but to state the gravity of tge case I drop the set limit to jus thet over $7million club) who have started 2 consecutive seasons without a goal through a combined 13 games?
Remember Toews did not get a goal last season till game#8 ..and so fat this season through 6 games he is a zero in goals scored...so has any forward earning ober $7million on the cap started 2 consecutive seasons through a combined 13 games goalless?
Will tonight be 14 in a row goalless in a combined 2 season starts (7 games each)?
Will he have to wait till next game go do it equalling g last year for his first goal?
Will he be even worse than last season and will not get it till game #9 or heaven forbid. ..later?
The bet go g lines can gave fun with this bit for Hawks fans and for Rocky paying him that fat check ($13 million this year) this is no joking matter.
Tonight is CGY. .they give up goals to everyone..if Toews can't quite...AGAIN..with them of all teams..then Q should be benching him before anybody else.
Not CP

Your posts make me want to vomit, you're asking for Toews to be BENCHED if he doesn't score a goal tonight.

If I'm counting right, Duncan Keith has been on the ice for nine of the 13 power-play goals the #Blackhawks have allowed.

A great game to build off of. A bit sloppy at times, but to be fair, Chicago is a talented team that can make anyone look bad. But Elliott was great and they looked a bit more relaxed. Nice.

Great win by the Flames! Elliot was fantastic. Breakouts out of the zone looked controlled. Gaudreau looking dangerous. 2 power play goals. I hope this is the start of the turn around.
Lots of good tonight but I would like to give a shout out to the 4th line, thought they played very well. Controlled, lots of jam, great on the forecheck and created chances. Freddie was good, I liked his game.
Well that was a lot better. What I expected from this team night in and night out. Our best players were our best players tonight. Johnny, Monahan, Gio and Brodie all had good games and rebounded from Saturday. Loved seeing Hamilton being physical and being involved. Much better player when he plays like that. Thought ferland had one of his best games. Seems to have a bit of confidence. Lastly I thought Stajan was tremendous tonight. Easily his best game of the season.
So happy for Elliot to pick up his first win. He deserved that with that unbelievable last second save not to mention his great work in the overtime and shootout. Really hope the boys can carry it over to tomorrow night.
