In Tokyo, CBC should just have a channel dedicated to Tewksbury and Bailey watching Canadians race.

the dip as the end was great.
in yesterday's women's 100m the Ivorian girl at the top in the orange shorts did not lean forward. Lost by a THOUSANTH of a second.
Tonight, De Grasse with the lean here!

In the Sin Bin
Ridiculous finish in the Germany-New Zealand field hockey match. The Kiwis - who have never beaten Germany - were up 2-0 with 4 minutes to play. Germans got to 2-1, then scored the tying goal on a penalty corner with 48 seconds left, then notched the winner with about 1 second left.

0.02 seconds out of silver. 0.02 seconds ahead of 4th.
That's how close it was for DeGrasse.

That slow motion clip of the final 30 metres where you can see De Grasse's making up ground every stride is really cool.
Sky is the limit for this kid.

At about 40m looked like he was last, but that may have just been the chicken arm trailing behind him.

9 straight days with a medal now. Canada's longest streak in summer or winter games

Since they seem unable to figure it out, to me it sounds like Bolt said "I told [Yohan] Blake, watch out" which would make sense.

Did I miss the medal ceremony? I watched a bit of volleyball and came back for his interview with Scott Oake. The stadium is empty now but it doesn't look like he has his medal yet. Do they do it somewhere else? It would be weird if they did it at an empty stadium.

Thanks, I was trying to remember if there was a day without a medal or not. Now, I don't have to look it up.
