I think where more creative players may bull up or stop skating to wait for linemates to catch up, Jooris is either A: Driving the net looking for a pass/rebound or B: carrying the puck and just getting it towards the front of the net.
Either way, he does both at a high speed and to me, is how he appears to be fast

I'm not into the conspiracy theories, but if there was an officials bias, it wold resist in more no -calls, not more penalties against, IMO.
