Fair enough (I love the Beatles but they aren't my favourite band or anything) I always wonder this when people hate them: who are your favourite bands?

I get that the general idea of this thread is to shock people with hating popular things, but if you legitimately hate the Beatles then you have no appreciation of music, and I would say that makes you a terrible person.

My answer to this question will change pretty much every time I get asked, but the one constant will always be Black Sabbath.

And The Rolling Stones were always superior to The Beatles in absolutely every way.

I wonder how many people would like the Beatles music if they didn't recognize that it was by the Beatles. A very large amount of their catalog would be considered regular 60s-70s Pop music that I'm sure tons of people don't actually enjoy.

Their influence and popularity is legendary of course but I can totally understand why people wouldn't like at least some of their music (personally I think some of it is bland and some of it is absolutely epic)

NHL players that made a name for themselves and then faded. Why do so many Flames fans point to players that have sucked for years as a good replacements for our players that suck?

Offer $5mil a year to Cam Ward who's basically equal to Kari Ramo these days? Sure, why not!!!!

It basically boils down to they get annoyed by Flames players because they watch them every night and love East players because they don't watch them and didn't even notice that they are now on par with the exact players they want to jettison out of here.

...and then they turn around bash our GM for apparently sitting on his hands and/or making bad moves.

I think you have transitioned what I like to call "an alcoholic"

Fair enough. I couldn't name a single one of their songs, although I do know I would know some. I guess they were just kind of a background band to me.

Even carrots?

I'll admit I'm not a big vegetable lover (although I do make myself eat them) but carrots are friggin' delicious.

Not even a Rush fan but you're just not trying if you can't name Tom Sawyer.

Just like how you're not trying with this re-hashed thread.

The next time I see a red scooter parked outside Brewsters I'm seriously coming in with my phone and making you a believer within 30 minutes.

I could do it, believe me. You're missing out on some of the best music out there.

I've got a Spotify account. I'll listen to them tomorrow morning to see what I'm missing. I've been jonesing for something new as I'm getting pretty bored of my usual playlists so the timing is perfect.
