Your getting worked up over nothing. I personally think Glencross will cost to much money and likely won't be a Flame next year. Because of that I want to see him dealt at the deadline if possible. If we can get a 1st or 2nd great. If all that is available is a 3rd oh well. Whether we keep or trade him I don't really care. Personally I see more long term value in the pick. You might disagree. That's fine with me. There is no right answer here.

If you are trying to say that Glencross is a bandaid he has missed more games than Cammalleri over that period (19 to be exact) or basically 5 additional games a season. It is not like Glencross is averaging 50 games and Cammalleri is averaging 82, it is more like Glencross is averaging 63 and Cammalleri is averaging 68. I guess that would also make a difference on the tier of player. To summarize.

They are almost equal in terms of average production per game.

Cammy will get you about 3.5 more points a season because he is slightly healthier. There is more certainty with him for sure, he is only injured about 20% of the time whereas Glencross is injured about 25% of the time.

Has there been a team that sold top 6 forwards for futures at the deadline and was legitimately in the playoff hunt? Closest thing I can remember is the Stars in the lockout year who were I believe 3 points back but my memory seems to make me think it is an extremely rare thing.
