They just need to make sure they don't use both Healy and Cox at the same time, like they did earlier in the season. The arrogance level was through the roof.

That combo is a mess. Both blowhards that I rather not listen too.

Kypreos actually has improved this season. Still a loudmouth, but a better one.

Last night was the first time I really noticed how bad it is. Before that, this season, I thought it was fine.

All last season sucked.

Hey, it's only 12 years.

The audio sync was brutal last night. And I never complain about this stuff.

There where pervious explanations that the sync issues were caused by the digitally added glass ads during the play but it was even noticeably during interviews. Unless Eric Francis' stupid vest is added in post there's no excuse for this.

I don't buy the argument about the ads either. Even before the game started, things were out of sync. If my cheap ass $150 sound bar can adjust the audio sync, surely someone at Rogers can turn a little dial ever so slightly to fix it. I haven't watched a sporting event, even some broadcast live from overseas, that has this sort of problem.

But we can blame Eric Francis as well.

I watched the French broadcast, turned the volume down and listened to 960 on the net while delaying the video about 33 seconds. No complaints that way.

As for Kypreos, he isn't the brightest bulb but at least he works at his trade and does some homework so he has a clue what he's talking about even if he forgets half way through. I find him worth listening to most of the time.

Don't get the Hextall complaints, she's a host and does fine.

A little cliche dependant but overall I didn't mind her. She may just be the smartest one sitting there.

Does anyone from any fanbase like Healy or what he brings to the broadcast? I don't see how he adds much value or insight and I don't think it's just a Flames fan thing.

There are many things to complain about with regards to SN but I'm so happy to not have to watch the Leafs on Saturday night anymore. I love have 5 different games on cable to pick from.

Nope, just tonight talking about how O'Reilly has more takeaways than Hossa. He should check his stats and see that Gaudreau leads the league.

Ahh, never mind then. When Healy talks I only listen to every second word.

They will. I am not a technical guy although I have been in the business 33 years. Sometimes however it is not a simple matter as some suggest. I think the delay is unusual as well and it has something to do with the virtual advertising.
Your allowed to complain, it's your right.
Glad to know that Sportsnet has known about this for over 2 1/2 years now and has still not figured out the problem...

It's honestly concerning that Sportsnet doesn't care about Flames broadcast quality enough to get the audio to match up properly. They finally get the PBP team right, but still missing the ball with something that shouldn't have been an issue in the first place. Advertisements be damned.

Agreed. Coverage-wise, this is FAR better than having different games on different regional CBC channels. Most Saturday games are available to all as part of a basic TV package anyway, hell I was even able to watch two games in HD with only an antenna.

Depending on the match-up, hometown hockey has the potential to be more well-accepted than the Saturday night games. The former Hockey Day in Canada was too infrequent to have a regular following.

Strombo has looked slightly out of place on the panel. At this point, he'd fit in better as a guy at ice-level, or some other role. Maybe he just needs more time on the panel, as it's not a role to which he's accustomed.

Something else that still bugs me about Sportsnet, is the super cheap HD cameras they use. They're dull, unsaturated, and have an ugly yellow/green hue.

Look at the difference between the camera SNET uses vs the one the Nashville team brought:

This was from last year, and little has changed:
