It's true about the running out of condoms. Prophylactics needed to be restocked faster in 2010, Cassie Campbell Pascal got pregnant at the Vancouver games. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cassie_Campbell
Hockey players' goals...........to score at the Olympics! I think it was the skier Alberto Tomba who loved to talk about those parties, he sure enjoyed Calgary, Albertville, and Lillehammer.

Hopefully someone at Air Canada or Westjet or something is able to help them out.
I don't get it. From the indigogo that was set up: "Their flight was cancelled and reimbursement was not issued. They are now scrambling to get to Sochi for the debut of women's skiing halfpipe."

So they had a flight booked, it was cancelled (and far in advance it looks like) but they didn't get money back or a new flight? Were they booked through Aeroflot or something?

Air China cancelled their connecting flight from Beijing to Sochi. They have been told that they will be reimbursed, but it will take several months. So in the interim they're scrambling. That being said, Rory said last night that the donations aren't necessary as they'll be able to take care of the issue themselves, so I guess they've got something figured out.

Well as the games come to a close - as predicted - no terrorism. As much as certain media and others wanted bloodshed - none of it. Kudos to the security teams. Sucks to anyone who cancelled their Olympic plans due to fear.
