If the only way to watch games was to watch this Oilers feed, I would become a soccer fan.

Blame Ortio when two flames in front of the net couldn't cover one player?

If they want any remote chance in this game, they've gotta move Granlund up into the top 6 and give him a chance to use that deadly shot. Put the skilled guys together!

Yeah prefer some of the other young guys over Kulak for sure.

The lineups might not have been correctly balanced. But at least the coaches will learn from this. In hindsight, might have been best to throw the only NHL goaltender they have into the game that looked like it would difficult.

They were bad but it was a routine save, he should have covered it instead of batting it around with the stick etc..

It was an Oiler that tapped it back in front.

The goaltending definitely has me concerned. Nobody played well, just that last goal on Ortio wasn't his fault IMO.

Ortio blundered on the initial shovel pass/shot into his glove hand. He should have been able to hang onto that.

It's okay, all goaltenders get a pass this night because of nerves.

Hopefully McGratten can pick up his game and touch the puck once in a while. That would add value to his fists of fury.

Agree. Granlund is not getting a shot at all. Byron is trying but barely touched the puck in the first but has looked better in the 2nd. McGratten probably needs a few games to get up to speed.

I'll take another look but first impression was brutal brutal brutal (nerves/choke) and super easy to glove the shot..
