Ignore him and don't give him the satisfaction of a response. Nicknames like that are a cancer that cannot be allowed to take hold

Berra is incredibly flexible. Watching him twist his hips 180 degrees is somewhat disturbing

Yeah the oilers announcers are obviously catering to their fanbase. Taking all the verbal liberties they can at the flames. "Calgary defensive prospects are barren" in reality it translates to "I want to Fluff Darnell Nurse"

Who has been worse Butler or Russel?
I said when we picked up Russel that if him and Butler are paired together this season that records will be broken.

End of 2nd period. Kulak had a nice shift near the end of the period but has been really bad theres really no other way to put that. Bear has picked it up especially near the end of the period. Byron had a couple of chances. Wideman has looked steady, Butler not so much. Horak and Hanowski look good and Jackman has been alright but I think they could use more punch on that line with either Byron or Granlund. Hudler had a nice screen on the Wideman goal. Russell looks better not paired with Kulak. Berra hasn't been tested much and I wonder if Ortio played better in the other game (didn't see it so not sure) and might have had the best game for the goalies tonight. Someone who watched the game in Calgary can let us know.

Missed most of this game but sounds like Russel has been poor as well.. Definitely don't mind him being 7th to 9th D and having a young guy play the 6th D spot..

Ortio's game losing goal was brutal and cancelled out any other good work he might have done..

MacDonald seems to have been the best goalie tonight, but he faced like 6 shots. I recall 2 non-routine saves for him in the game.
EDIT okay he faced 11 shots. Felt like less.

Mark my words. Berra will be the starter.
I just found out I missed watching Hudler with the puck. He's good, darned good.
Russell seems to be forcing passes or making bad judgements with the puck.
They're not using Granlund effectively IMO. Should be with Jooris and Byron. And getting some pp time. Horaks line was out for the second half of that last pp.
Butler still looks to be the bane of a lot of our existences.

They might be more in this game if McGratten had played in Calgary and Ferland was on the line with Granlund and Byron and Kulak could have sat.

Kulak has been absolute garbage. Butler has been average.
