Stajan for Phaneuf.
Here's what's left of your stuff, Toronto. They'll need someone to replace Bozak anyways, haha.

If true I like the assets that we are getting on short term deals easy pieces to moves for picks as the organization moves forward in the rebuild process. I like the addition of Raymond and will probably flourish under Bob.

I like the idea of Raymond but I was a bigger supporter of bringing in Mueller. Fits better with the flames when you take into account the hooles left on the forward group. Add to that Muellers familiarity with O'Brien, Galiardi and Jones. But then again we may get both still and clear out the rest of the other vets. Who the heck knows whats gonna happen tomorrow but I am excited.

This IMO is a step backwards.

Going to be harder to score goals next year with a full season without Iginla and no Tanguay.

Afternoon Fan guys are discussing Raymond but nothing resembling speculation that he is all but signed, more like concern about a budding war. So maybe not a done deal just yet

The flames have a very obvious plan here. Sign more players then you could possibly need, move current players for draft picks, repeat. Other teams have been doing it for years, now we finally have the cap space too wouldn't be surprised to see us spend to the cap. Possibly sign Weiss and grabo. Then work on trading steps, backs, stajan, cammalleri, while still having a full roster

I like the recent path that Feaster has gotten on to bring in bigger players and tougher ones. Mason would be a step back from this. I wouldn't mind if they passed on him at all.

I feel like 90% of those flashes of brilliance have come at the expense of the Flames.

I seem to remember Glencross lighting us up a couple time before he came here too. That worked out pretty well.

I don't think you can determine the value of Michalek by his stats. He's a defensive defensemen. Pretty sure that didn't stop Regehr from having value.

Walker should maybe go back and listen to what Boomer said a couple if times this morning. To me it wasn't that they think the flames should sign Raymond he heard a deal may be close
