Not sure why you chose my quote to post this under.

If they get 5 of 8 points in every four games they play it's all aces.

So really, they need to continue playing at the same clip they have been as of late, which (hopefully) can be closer to achieving as we get healthier.

They played Vancouver twice at Rogers Arena and that's the softest sked in the league?

Even their home dates were against some tough teams in SJ, Ana and Chicago.

I'm not trying to sugar coat this poor start, but your point of having the softest schedule is just not valid.

Points are going away quick. The performance at home has been shameful thus far other then a big 3rd and overtime vs Chicago.

They need to go on a run. I'd say they need to win 6 regulation games in next 10 to create separation and climb the standings.

Sorry about your ruffled feathers, and glad to hear you agree with the point I was making.
Glad to know you see that I agreed with the point that you were making about 5 out 8 being a positive all along and simply questioned how anyone can think we are missing 3 of our top six forwards. I was simply trying to point out that in my opinion they are missing 3 of their top 9, definitely one of their top six, maybe even two of their top six, but not 3 out of their top six.

And all the while, ROR waits patiently on the sidelines still without a contract...

Irving bit hard on each of the first moves, that's all. It wasn't lack of lateral movement or skills.

He just got taken to the woodshed by a couple of very skilled NHL vets. He'll settle in.

Do you have a reading comprehension problem? Look at what was said and by who when I was responding.

I don't have any wool over my eyes, I know this team making the dance is a stretch.

But there are a select group of posters here who do nothing but spam the forum about how bad this team is and do it on a daily basis.

I don't find this very constructive, and pointed it out.

The Flames are going to be so busy building something to build on that they'll run out of time to build on it.

10 games in.........3 wins, 7 losses.

Nothing's impossible and I'm not saying they have no hope of making the playoffs, but they better figure things out soon before the hole they are in gets too big to climb out of.

Having #12 and #40 play much better would be a good start.

The Captain will come out shortly saying they have to turn the table bra bra bra. Please do but this time flip the table as I hope for a rebuild from scratch

sure nice stat to point out but point out the other side while your at it.

2nd career shoot out, team has 1 goals on 7 shots, kind of hard to win when your team scores a goal in 2 shootout, doesn't matter how many you let in if you team can't score more than one for you.

They have played the least amount of games and have had the most rest. Not to mention starting off at home and pissing it away.

It's been a easy start. What should have been a big start has them sputtering out the gate and now catching up.

3 wins and 3 OTL, meaning just slightly under .500.

It's bad, no doubt, it's not that bad.

You know what? The team deserves it. And for those that complain that people get angry, they should be angry. I'd like to see some of that anger shown the by the club after a loss, not the mumbling about this and that needs to be better. This team is way, way too complacent.

The Flames are 1/1 in shoot outs with me in the Dome. If anyone is thinking of jumping ship, they can give their seasons tickets to me and try to help out the team.

ok fair enough so 2 goals in 7 shots in the shootout. What happened on the other 2 shots? 2 good moves by 2 good players it's bound to happen.

Same boring snoozefest, and another point pissed away.

Three wins in ten fricken games.

Depending on how you look at it.....only 4 regulation loses in 10 as well.
