Had a chance to speak with a Sportsnet Flames producer today. He told me he had never heard any concerns about an audio delay. Said he would be looking into it.
For what it's worth, he also said "the onscreen graphics need some work".
I congratulated them on the new deal, he seemed really excited. Nice guy.

Didn't Millions himself address this issue like two years ago saying they were working on it? They can't have not known.

That in itself sounds bush-league...
You'd think there would be at least one quality control viewer that watches the final product and provides feedback.

Maybe we could email that guy some recorded video of the games where Kerr calls the goal before they score.

It's not audio delay. The NHL is fixed like WWF, and Kerr jumps ahead in the script.

Yup, tonight is especially bad. The puck slams against the boards just as the shot is being taken. You already know it's going wide. Just brutal.

Channle 302 on Shaw is perfectly in sync for me.

Not for me. Less than 1/2 a second ahead, but sound is clearly ahead of the play.

Seems to be an issue of it be inconsistent on channels for some. So bush league. For any having issues, may have to flood Sportsnet contact e-mail until the result is fixed.

Since they blamed the glass advertisements, maybe we should start complaining to the advertisers:
Dear so and so, because of your ad you're ruining the play by play?
Some pressure from the paying sponsor might help?

All night my Dad kept saying "the guy who puts in the sound-effect of hitting the post is sure lazy tonight."

Man it was frustrating tonight. Totally ruined every scoring chance because you'd know it wasn't in before the puck was off the stick.
Bush league station.
