Definitely not Miami since they just signed Teddy as a backup. Saints make the most sense for Baker.

Love that for the Broncos. Any time you can lock up a guy who’s never played a full season and has a career high of six sacks in a year for a cool 70 mil you gotta do that. Classic.

It may come to that...but the Saints are currently all-in on Deshaun Watson. Kind of surprising, given they're 1 of only 4 NFL teams with a female owner, but apparently she's given her consent to pursue him. As of end of day yesterday anyway, they're the odds on favourite to land him. But these things are fluid, so that can change very fast. Basically I'm going to be checking Twitter every 6 seconds all week.
UPDATE: And with the restructuring to DE Marcus Davenport, the Saints are officially under the cap (with more restructures to go). They're definitely making room for something, Watson or not..

Yeah I corrected. I remember Raiders fans freaking out when Gruden re-signed him for $2.5 million guaranteed last season so this massive raise is mind boggling.

You think the Broncos could have used legalized weed in Denver as leverage in the negotiations.

Baker Mayfield maybe out in CLE? Lame duck going into contract year. And Browns mat be pursuing Watson.
Edit sorry didn't see the above Mayfield chatter.
Yes Seahawks would accelerate some things if they got Mayfield. Or Watson.
Just can't imagine Drew Lock starts at QB in 6 months with the amount of time, draft resources, and financial resources Seattle has to be able to use between now and then.

Hawks should go after Mayfield, he has to be an upgrade on Lock.

At least prior to this Mayfield development, there's been rumblings that Seahawks have been showing interest in Jameis Winston as well.
From who I've been following lately with the Saints perspective in the Deshaun Watson race, there's a desire to get it concluded as soon as possible - the hope was yesterday, but Atlanta entering the race late and scheduled to meet with Watson today has stalled things. In case New Orleans can't land him, they want to be able to pivot back to Winston before he's gone, as apparently the Seahawks are interested now.
There's some hope there will be a conclusion to the Watson saga today and he'll have his new team, but I can see this dragging on as more teams keep entering the race late.

Hopefully the Mannings keep doing their MNF broadcast as I can't stand that broadcast combo.

I mentioned a while ago about how we sometimes see these tweets from "insiders", and they come off so weird. Like doesn't this read as if it was Mathieu's agent who wrote this instead of Rapoport? I suppose you gotta whore yourself out to keep the access...

Ngakoue was everything raiders could have asked for last year, but signing chandler jones and turning Ngakoue into a young starting CB in Rock Ya-Sin is a huge win
