Seeing that this is my favorite holiday of the year - yes I said holiday - and it is coming up very soon, have you got a costume idea? What are you going to be?
What have you been in previous years?
My personal bests: - Hamburgalur 1998
- Garden Gnome 2003
- Elf-vis (in Las Vegas) 2004
- Uncle Sam - (wearing 14" stilts) 2005
- Captain Crunch and Listerine Man 2006

Peter Parker. I'll have pictures...
As far as past is concerned, I think the last time I dressed up, I went as Roy from Sigfreid and Roy, right after the Tiger attack. I'll see if I still have the pictures kicking around.

This wasn't me, but the best outfit I've ever seen was a guy wearing a green rubber outfit with an off-center pointy head as well as ammunition belts strung both ways across his chest.
He was Gumbo. Half Gumby, half Rambo.

I've been told at work that I have to dress up this year so I've been thinking of going as Ricky from the Trailer Park Boys.

Last year I was Bill Cosby. Get a gaudy x-mas sweater at the thrift shop, some puddin pops, and a disposable kodak camera to take pics of girls, and you're set. It doesn't hurt if you can do a Cosby impression or two.
The year before i went as "Stranger with Candy". That was amazingly creepy/fun.

I was thinking how since it now (thank god) the Harry Potter books are done, I would be an "unemployed Harry Potter" looking all dishevelled with a sign that says will do magic for food....
You could always go as the blades of glory skaters. It would be a classic.
Though I have been a magician before...by the end of the night I had made my drawn on moustache disappear.

best time for me was when i went as Braveheart..... I had a freaking Japanese tour bus stop on the street when we were walking to the bar... all they could say was " we love Mel " and i had to pose for about 40 freaking pictures.
that and the women at the bar....LOL no comment!
Fun time of the year, would like to get a few people together one year and go hard core and make a haunted house.... something that will make it on the news....
the CP haunted house..... LOL anyone up for it?

2 years ago I went as a transformer (Soundwave) with a couple of my buddies. Made the whole costume myself out of mostly cardboard and then had speakers mounted on my back blaring the transformers theme as we walked from bar to bar. EVERYONE, even some sketchy looking gangs ("oh, those aren't your costumes? my bad..") we passed along first street absolutely loved it. Some guy let his girlfriend have it after she called us "robots" and not "transformers" haha.
Last year I went as Wario driving a kart from Mario Kart. Again, made the whole thing myself out of old coveralls and alot of rolled up poster paper and then had fake legs coming out of my stomach and onto the kart so it was really only like half a costume I guess. Wore it to the Flames game up in section 309 that night too. That one got wrecked in a little head on collision our taxi had at nights end unfortunately.
This year I'm not sure what I'm gonna go as... I'm thinking maybe the bear ######er costume from Super Troopers perhaps haha. Definitely one of my favorite holidays too since I started going all out when it comes to the costumes..

IF I wasn't so lazy. I would get my costume ready ahead of time instead of a couple hours before I go out. I would go as a UPS delivery guy. You know dress in a brown shirt, brown shorts, carry a clip board to get girls phone numbers and make various big package jokes. But that was IF I wasn't so lazy...

Nothing, I hate Halloween with a burning passion. I usually have to work that night anyway.

and isn't UPS's slogan "what can brown do for you?" Just walk around all night asking the girls that question. It'll work for sure...

I've been Silent Bob and Braveheart in the past too.
Silent Bob was easy to play and Braveheart was definately awesome at the bar.
If I dress up this year for anything, I'll be Nacho Libre. My brother hooked me up with a luchadore mask from his trip to Mexico. I just need some good tights.
If I knew someone who looked like Jack Black I'd totally make him be Tenacious D from P.O.D. with me.
