Calgary best team in Nhl 2k8

They are rated a 95.Anaheim is second at 93.The gameplay is awesome.Controls are a little diffrent and take some getting used to[for 360 anyway]Right and left bumpers are pass and shoot.The franchise mode is where game relly shines.Cap is in as well as restricted and unrestricted free agents,new player negotiation system and a revamped player progression.If you are into the whole dynasty experience i really recommend this game.Glad i choose it.I try to support other companies other than ea beacause i don't want another madden where it is the only game in town.Nice job this year sega.9.5 out of 10.

I couldn't use the bumpers, I had to go back to 2007 controls. Agreed, franchise mode is a million times better in this version.

Try the Pro Classic controls... that way you still get the sprint button and ProStick and overall the controls are very similar to 2K7 (X-shoot, A-Pass, etc.)

Yar, I jsut don't know which one to get. Xbox owner for all of 1 week now. Is this one the way to go?

I have both!!!

Franchise mode for 2K8 and Gameplay of 08 although switching from game to game takes some real dexterity to remember all the controls.

Why don't you try renting both of the them to see which one you like the best? I think that's what I'll do.

I have both as well.

NHL 2k8, while ugly and odd, still feels more like a real hockey game to me. It's not as stiff and magnetic in it's animations. Though it's odd to play so far.

EA is better, and more fun. I refunded my 2k yesterday.
