so I wonder if EA will be getting in some trouble for this code leaking as it ruined the jersey unveiling for some teams.

it's those teams own fault, they should have released their jerseys before the game came out. companies HAVE to know that if you release a game with "secret" information hidden inside, people will find it one way or another

I'm sorry, but to make an example Madden on the Wii was way more fun than on the XBOX due to how much more I got into the game. EA could have a heydey designing the game controls to work around the wii-mote. NHL would sell like crazy on the Wii, which has a very large (and growing) market share.. why wouldn't EA want to put it out for the Wii?

I'm wondering if there will be any fall out for us as gamers for using the code earlier than we're supposed to? I don't see anything happening but I'm a tad paranoid in that sense I guess.

How were sales for Madden? I could be mistaken, but I'd assume the demographics for wi users are still pretty young compared to the other systems and those gamers would rather buy some goofy Mario hockey instead of a realistic hockey game.

I'd agree. The hockey version of Super Mario Strikers would sell. NOt sure about a true sim version as that is for the more serious gamer and they tend to lean towards the 360 over the Wii for that type of more serious game. Wii will have some great serious gamer games but I don't think hockey will be one.

The code worked for me just minutes ago on the XBOX 360.
Holy crap these new Reebok socks are ugly. I wish I could find the guy responsible and punch him right in the nose.
