I'm so very sorry for you all. It is terrible when somebody close to you passes on, regardless of the situation. I have lost many close family members over the years and it is tough to get over, if you ever really do.

My heartfelt condolences to you all.

we, my family, would like to add our thoughts and prayers for you, your friends and family. This is very tragic and unfortunate to lose someone at such a young age. Truly heartbreaking

Sorry to hear about your loss man, and don't feel as if something like this isn't appropriate here. You certainly aren't the first person to do something like this, and you won't be the last. When my father was diagnosed with cancer two and a half years ago I was on Calgarypuck the night after and for some reason felt like venting about it. The thread got to about two pages, but the amount of PM's I received could have been a thread with 10 pages. Again, sorry to hear that, my thoughts and prayers go out to you, your family, and your friends who are all dealing with this.

Wow that’s really tough, sorry to hear of your loss. He sounds like a great guy, best friends are hard to come by. You and your friends have each other to lean on, great memories are the best defense to sadness.

I'm incredibly sorry to hear about your loss. Honestly, I wouldn't know where to even begin dealing with something like this, so it has to be comforting to see a lot of other people on this board having gone through a similar thing. My condolensces to everyone involved in this tragedy.

Sorry to hear about that. My closest friend from highschool had Cystic Fibrosis and passed away just over 5 years ago when he was 25 years old. Unfortunate just how short some peoples lives can be.

I can't imagine what you guys are going through. I've been lucky enough to never have lost a close friend.

My condolences in this difficult time.

Thanks for all your support guys. In a related note, Im trying to find the song Never Say Goodbye by Kyprios for Matt's memorial tomorrow. Unfortunately I can only find it on itunes as a protected AAC file which I can't edit in Garage Band. Can someone tell me how to buy it non-protected, someone before mentioned they just charge you an extra 30 cents. Thanks again for all your support guys, it really means a lot to all of us.

Sorry to hear about this. My best friend/roommate was murdered 6 years ago, and I really let it mess up my life for a few years. Do your best to really focus on your own future while you grieve.
